Hayley Westenra is looking for love, Vicky-Lee has split with Scotty Rocker and - holy hell! - Rachel Hunter was attacked during the Melbourne Cup. Why isn't this front page news?
New Idea - the only mag to cover the dramatic incident - reports our Rach was "clearly shaken" after being randomly attacked by a stranger while walking into her hotel after a Melbourne Cup luncheon.
Not the face, please not the face.
"I just couldn't believe it," the supermodel told a source. "This woman just ran up to me and lashed out with her foot and kicked me in the leg." A bit of fake tan will do wonders for the bruise, Rach.
"It was like some bizarre Tonya Harding moment," the source said, making a slightly off-colour comparison.
"She was visibly shaken and could easily have triggered something much worse." Yep, underneath all that make-up is a rough-as-guts Kiwi girl who will ram a Trumpet up your ass if you even look at her sideways.
Elsewhere, Hayley Westenra is looking for Mr Right. Look out lads, the Kiwi opera star is on the prowl, and she's not settling for second best.
"I've been busy for so long," Hayley tells Woman's Weekly. "I've dated and have lots of male friends but I think I'm ready for something more - I guess I'm just like any other 20-year-old."
Yeah, right. Because all 20-year-olds can sing like a soaring bird, perform regularly for royalty and sell millions of albums. Good luck with your man hunt, Hayley.
