The article in The Press had a different photo than the website, here it is:- I will be taking holidays in February 2008 so that I can go to the winery concerts in the South Island. I will be doing a traditional kiwi holiday which is camping in a tent in nearby camping grounds and hope to sample many of the excellent wines that are to be found in NZ. The weather is usually more settled in February and can be quite hot especially if we get our famous nor-westerly winds.

Hi Stephany and Richard
I was quite surprised to hear that Dave Dobbyn would be part of Hayley's New Zealand tour. Maybe you are right Stephany, but for my money, nothing short of 100% Hayley would do after a two year absense.
Dobbyn must have something to make him so popular with the Kiwis, but I have to be honest and say that he just doesn't appeal to me one little bit. What I'm not sure of is whether or not he will also be part of the February dates already advertised, or are we talking about a totally new set of dates?
Either way, I think this news has helped me make some important decisions and I think now that I will delay any plans to vizit New Zealand for a couple of years (which will be better for me financially).
Best wishes Grant

Best wishes Grant Hi Grant, I've never really been a fan of Dave Dobbyn, but he is a kiwi legend. He's been around since the early days of kiwi music, and with songs such as "Slice of Heaven", he has a huge following. I think that if he goes on tour with Hayley, they'll keep him singing more of the iconic songs such as those by Crowded House from the 80's as opposed to his own later stuff.. ~Chris

Hi Ross - many thanks for this beautiful scan. We can also spot three other biographies on the table! What I'm not sure of is whether or not he will also be part of the February dates already advertised, or are we talking about a totally new set of dates? I believe that these are the February dates already advertised - not a new tour. Dave Dobbyn may be a legend in New Zealand but I personally didn't like his voice that much. Not enough to go and see one of his solo concerts anyway. Either way, I think this news has helped me make some important decisions and I think now that I will delay any plans to vizit New Zealand for a couple of years (which will be better for me financially). I'm also hoping to go to New Zealand in a couple of years. Count me in, Grant! Depends on what job I have and where I live but it's definitely on my agenda. Belinda will be our Kiwi guide Lots of love, Stephany

I'm also hoping to go to New Zealand in a couple of years. Count me in, Grant! That sounds a brilliant idea. We'll have to get Graeme to fly the HWI plane over! Belinda will be our Kiwi guide. Yup!! No doubt about that! Love Grant

I guess some people are used to the more refined quiet concert where no one says boo, I get the feeling Hayley enjoys hearing the crowd taking part. and i hope its that sort concert. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHi Belinda I guess we are, but I'm sure you will agree that a noisy reception in a concert hall or cathedral would not sound quite right I enjoyed Shepherds Bush as a one off, but don't think I could cope with that sort of reception all the time! I know it's the Kiwi way, and I agree that Hayley enjoys audience participation. Have an amazing time!! Hi Grant and Stephany You guide will be here ready and waiting to take you on your guided Hayley tour Belinda Looking forward to it already Belinda i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest wishes Grant

With Dave Dobbyn on the bill attendance could go way up, however, most vineyards that I am familiar with have fairly flexible public areas, but....get your tickets early!! Anyone for camping? I wonder where my tent is, haven't seen it for years.............TimJ
Anyone have an extra ticket for Southampton? ( I've got to stop reading the wonderful concert reviews, they are the reason I miss Hayley ALREADY!)

Belinda, camping would be OK, if there are no rooms available nearby, when the concerts get confirmed, and when we find out about tickets (STEVE)!.....TimJ

WOW....I just watched Drew's clips from Shepherds Bush again ! How awesome to watch Hayley so happy and engaged with the audience. Dave and Hayley go so very well together....it's so great to see Hayley letting her hair down. Doesn't she just love singing duets. Now I can't wait at all for January/February !!! What a fantastic time you had at Shepherds Bush ! Love, Marianne
