Hi Belinda - Hayley does seem to have a great memory but with so much happening in her life, it must not be easy to remember all the little details that matter. Next time I see her, I hope she remembers my name but forgets that I'm French Stephany

Hi Stephany,
Don't worry it wasn't anything nasty ,just a general conversation about the Shepherds Bush Concert.

What a lovely interview sat in the knave of a Cathedral! Hayley really does seem very happy at the moment and partying "just a little bit" and so she should.
I thought the candle flame going out at the end was a rather nice touch, and nothing to be alarmed about. It just signified the end of the interview, the same as it would the end of a service.
Best wishes Grant

What an enjoyable and enlightening interview. As others have said Hayley is looking relaxed and radiant. At last she is beginning to realise that there is more to life than work (albeit a very important part of Hayley's life). It's great that although Hayley is many thousands of miles away here she is sat on my pc. Martin

Mark Hi Mark, Works ok for me. Takes some time to get going. This is the link I used: www.tv3.co.nz/VideoBrowseAll/EntertainmentVideo/tabid/312/articleID/37546/Default.aspx#videoAll you need to do is tick 'Broadband' or 'Dial Up' (in the black box to the right) and wait. If you're using Broadband it shouldn't take long to load. 'Well worth watching. I hope you can get it ... Paddy

Stephany, I was interested to hear Hayley's feelings about the second album too. I guess she is the type of person whose work has to have meaning, i.e. the songs must have meaning to her, and the album has to be her 'achievement'. Otherwise, trying to put myself in her position, I would feel like a jukebox that somebody was programming songs into. Great that she took back more control for Treasure, and I think it's all the better for her having done so. Incidentally, I love the look on the Dalai Lama's face in the picture the programme showed. I'd like to imagine he's thinking 'I can't believe I got to meet Hayley Westenra!'

Hi Michael, Hayley does say a little more about 'Odyssey' in her biography. She is clearly very happy with the result but it's how they eventually got there that could have been changed (eg with Hayley taking more decisions!). It's a good thing that she no longer hesitates to discuss and impose her decisions. I like what you said about the Dalai Lama. He certainly seemed very impressed by Hayley! Stephany
