I was listening to ‘River’ by Joni yesterday and thought that the second verse could well describe Hayley’s recent times:

Strange coincidence Martin. "River" was the subject of Radio 4's new series of "Soul Music" where music fans explain what Joni's song means to them. If you're not registered with iplayer the programme is repeated tonight at 9.30pm on Radio 4.

LA is actually very brown, and I don't actually think she's quitting or making lots of money. She only went home for the holidays. She wouldn't have moved to LA just to go home and quit. Or, at least, that certainly couldn't have been the original intent. But why quit, when you're so good at what you do, that you CAN still make lots of money?
