Lucy mentioned during her radio interview that her upcoming album will be available on iTunes. Those of us in the USA can also now pre-order the CD on Amazon US ...note the import release date is February 8th...one week after the UK release. Lucy Thomas has begun autographing her pre-ordered albums... Also, on her Facebook page, Lucy has shared some videos of complete songs from her album...release date in five days!

I am really enjoying Lucy Thomas' album! I bought two of them. The CD I had ordered from Amazon US arrived first, before the signed CD. The latter was handled through a fulfillment service which saw delays in processing. Lucy's album failed to chart in the Official Albums Chart Top 100 in the UK or the Billboard Top 200 in the US. But... Great news! The Universal Kids TV channel in the US will air The Voice Kids Season Two! Episodes will air on Saturdays beginning on February 23 at 5:30 pm Eastern US time. Universal Kids has aired the first season on the show several times. As you know, Lucy appeared in three episodes in season two...the Blind Auditions 3, Battle Round 1, and the Semifinal. So I am thinking March 9 will be Lucy's first TV appearance in America! More info in the link below... www.universalkids.com/shows/the-voice-kids |

Some Lucy Thomas news!  Today Lucy shared this photo from the HMV in Wigan...she spotted her new album atop the "recommended listening" stand! Some Lucy Thomas news! Lucy has released a new video on YouTube! It's a beautifully-filmed stage scene of her singing "Starlight", from the upcoming musical "Rosie". Also, Lucy Thomas is slated to perform at Calon FM's fundraising concert on October 19, at the Stiwt Theatre in Rhosllannerchrugog (near Wrexham), Wales. Other artists scheduled to perform are Joanna Forest, Natasha Hardy, Keedie, Hercules, Olga Thomas, Adam Lacey, Beth Ford, and Elan Catrin Perry. Ticket info will be announced soon. riveting performance, great camera work, must be great to be allowed to use your viewfinder to shoot video, interestingly Lucy does not look directly into the cameras at any stage of the song, this is when a performer connects directly with the viewer, I can understand that happening on a bootleg video where the performer does not know the camera is there, but in a professionally shot video it is most unusual for the performer not to deliberately look into the lens to connect with the viewer / listener.

Thanks Paddy for sharing Elan's video but unfortunately I cannot view it. The uploader has not made the video available to be seen in the USA. I did watch some others.
Also thanks Comet...it is an unusually-filmed piece. It is as if we are seeing Lucy on the West End stage!
