Yes, I appreciate seeing it, too. I always used to look forward to the Classic(al) Brit Awards every year, and now that that seems to be done for, and Hayley hardly does anything worth dressing up in such a gown for, I'm really missing this sort of thing in her career. It seems doubtful the CBA's would ever be resurrected, with so many of the classical acts going the independent route.

I used to love seeing all the CBA photos and videos, too! One of the highlights of each year.

Yes, definitely for me, too, and now it's been 4 years (well, it wil be in October) since the last one! *sigh* I love this green one, and then that blue one she wore to her December concert last year was beautiful, too. Though I don't think we ever got a completely full-length shot of that one. I hope they're both hers to keep.

Oh, thank you, John! It seems there are a few cracks here and there in my memory. But if I'd remembered, you wouldn't have posted in this thread today, and there would be one less thread with no activity today.

According to the Hong Kong Tatler, Hayley may have only sung one song at the gala dinner, but it isn't clear.

Guests were in for a treat with a line-up of stellar performances. A high point of the night was when New Zealand songstress Hayley Westenra took to the stage to sing a rendition of Kiwi classic “Pokarekare Ana” with the help of renowned Chinese guitarist Yang Xuefei. Next up was a performance from Singaporean musician Hanjin Tan, who shared the stage with leading a cappella artists Metro Vocal Group.

There are no photos of Hayley and Renée Fleming was involved in other events:

The gala event launched FIF’s World In Tune Initiative, a series of invents including the Evening with Renée Fleming recital the previous evening; a Renée Fleming Masterclass, which benefitted over 200 of the FIF’s students and teachers, and a soon-to-be-released recording to benefit the FIF featuring Eason Chan, Renée Fleming and Lang Lang.
