Anna Hawkins

I'm surprised no one has posted about the wonderful Anna Hawkins yet. Anna is a very talented classical crossover singer from New Zealand (no surprise there!) who now has 2 professionally recorded albums to her credit. I was lucky enough to find out about her and got to feature her in Classical Crossover Magazine. I haven't been this impressed or excited with a new artist in a while but I think her sound is really unique, she's not just singing a bunch of covers but making the music her own. I highly recommend her to any fans of Hayley! Her new album "Divine" is out now and is a real treat - I'm saving the Christmas tracks till after Christmas but have been enjoying the rest on my commutes to work.
