So who else was taken aback by Lady Gaga's stunning performance at the oscars!? My, my, was least expecting it. Probably has to be the best of the main stream singers of this generation, vocally. I just figured her latest Jazz album with Tony Bennet was a complete contrast too. Here's a video of her performance with Julie Andrews' appearance in the end: Not the best quality, I guess we have to wait for that. “Dear Lady Gaga, thank you for that wonderful tribute, it really warmed my heart.” said Andrews herself, Lady Gaga's really lucky I guess! to have sung that in front of a legend and get her approval too. I hope Lady Gaga continues along this path, I'm happy that through her fame she's bringing this generation towards music of this sort, which some of them would've otherwise never had the opportunity to be exposed to.

I quite like it! She's no Julie, but she does do it complete justice. Often we see self respecting Hollywood Stars go off the deep end, but very seldom do we see them go the opposite direction, which is exactly what Lady Gaga is doing. And I must say, I like it. She has a lovely voice which has been wasted too long on meat dresses and mainstream pop. -Taylor

Didn't hear this performance but I always thought there was a decent singer hiding underneath all the gimmicks and commercial rubbish. Nice to be proven right!

I've always known that, Martin. But don't expect a complete turn-around. Maybe she'll start doing some broadway, or something, but I'm sure she won't stray too far from her silliness. With all her dressing up and drama, broadway might actually suit her.

Her concert with Tony Bennett at the Albert Hall, London in June sold out in a day. She really does demonstrate her singing ability with Tony whether it be jazz or swing.

Lady Gaga creates headlines and hysteria about situations and images that she has carefully created -- she is never in the headlines for anything outrageous to do with her actual personal life. She's a very clever busy lady and she's created a smash career for herself. She's also a chameleon -- which is essential if you're going to have a long career. If you're a one trick pony, that gets a bit boring after a while. I also think that Lady Gaga has created some incredible and unique sounding pop songs. Creating catchy pop songs and interpreting them in a unique manner is extremely difficult.

Hello folks! I'll repost this video of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett performing "The Lady is a Tramp". Watch the red handkerchief closely and spot the continuity errors! Here's a live performance of "Anything Goes": There are many more excellent videos on Lady Gaga's VEVO channel: www.youtube.com/user/LadyGagaVEVO/videosRichard

Oh, I just love their duet of "The Lady is a Tramp"!!
Lady Gaga is such a talented individual. Unlike many pop stars in the headlines, Gaga actually has natural talent-not just vocally, but all-around musical talent, in my opinion.

I see the video of Lady Gaga's performance at the Academy Awards (Oscars) has been removed, so here's a replacement: Richard
