Susan and I arrived in Madison mid-afternoon today. We checked out the Theater from a distance. We made four attempts and can't see how to get to it by car without either making an illegal turn or going the wrong way on a one way street. The illegal turn seems the way to go. We saw a commercial on TV this evening for Hayley's concerts. That seemed strange but exciting. I didn't believe I would ever have the opportunity to see Hayley here in the US of A. BillR

Hi, On Dec 17th, should you happen to be on the forum during the flight time of Libby's first leg (Seattle to Minneapolis) enroute to Madison, you may care to take a quick look to see how she is progressing. It is about a 3 hour flight over 6 states, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. To catch her plane in flight, check the table below for the time for your time zone. Greenwich-UK . . 6:41PM to 9:36PM Eastern-US . . . .1:41PM to 4:36PM Central-US . . . 12:41PM to 3:36PM Mountain-US. . 11:41AM to 2:36PM Pacific-US . . . 10:41AM to 1:36PM New Zealand 12/18 7:41AM to 10:26AM flightaware.com/live/flight/ASA036The second leg, Minneapolis to Madison, is just a short hop of only 27 minutes, after a 2 hour layover at Minneapolis. flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL4937BobS (subject to slight change on the 17th) My itinerary says my 2nd flight will be from 5:20pm to 6:24pm (CST). My wait beforehand is just under 2 hours.

BillR How's the weather? Any snow on the ground? The weather sources were predicting snow for earlier today. I assume you would have said so if there was snow, but you never know! Anyway, I probably won't see your answer before I go, so not even sure why I'm asking. LOL

The weather is clear here in Chicago, at least for the next few days. hopefully neither Hayley nor Libby will have trouble flying out.

Overcast skies in Madison and no snow on the ground. The temperature was suppose to get down to 21F last night. Not bad for Wisconsin.

The Orpheum Theater is located on State Street between W. Johnson St.and W. Dayton Street (not clearly marked on the map - 1st street east of the Orpheum). State St is a vehicle-restricted street where only buses and city vehicles are suppose to have access. There is a small indoor parking lot (Associated Bank) just before you come to the intersection of W Dayton St. and State St. A much larger indoor lot is located along N Carroll St. behind the Theater.
I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow Hayliens. BillR

Hi, Am wondering how the ticket sales have been. Have not seen anything about that other than chances on getting some free ones, not a particularly good sign. Not long to wait now to know. BobS

Nice picture of the Orpheum, Bill. It reminds me of Joe's avatar. Used to see a few theaters like that lit up on the main street of my home town, but now long gone. BobS

Free tickets aren't necessarily a sign of bad sales. If anything they show effort put forth to promote the show! -Taylor

Hi, Libby's plane is just this minute landing in Madison. She is now little more than a handshake away from Hayley. Am looking forward to what I expect will be some great reporting and pictures. But, am not expecting to see any MartinDn-type videography. Will miss that. BobS

Yes, seeing Bill's photo of the Orpheum's marquee brought back memories of my only Hayley concert, at the State Theater in Easton, PA.

The little drummer boy won't be running off the stage with those drums.
For some very odd reason I am getting really excited with the anticipation of you Hayliens over there in Madison, wishing you a spectacular concert and a wonderful time after the show.
Lets hope the dignitaries and the knobs don't hog Hayley on you and you get to spend a fair amount of time with her after the concert and the efforts you have made to get there.
