I am a little bit confused !
I am always a little bit confused after a Hayley concert, It's a bit like an "Out of body" experience, or is that an "out of mind" experience.
For some reason I thought this was the first ever live performance of Let Me Lie.
Way back in 07 or 08 I got the lyrics page of Let me Lie signed by Hayley and told her I would love to hear it live sometime, I think at that time Hayley was needlessly a bit shy about performing her own songs.
can anyone direct me to concert thread or YouTube video where it is on the songlist or can anyone remember a previous performance of this song ?

It was lovely to meet you Michal, and your friend esequiel (not sure I spelled it right). Yes, it was a very special night. I know it took a lot of effort to be there. The same with me for another reason. I lost my wife in December, and since then have not thought about doing much at all. You can all to easily get into a cycle of doing nothing, and thinking that nothing is worth doing. I took my time to decide to come to Dublin, and when I did there were only five seats left, all at the back. I thought I wouldn't bother, then a friend said he had a spare ticket I could have. So I decided to come after all. What I hadn't realised is that this was one of the best seats in the house, in the centre of the front row, about six feet from Hayley. Being in a seat like that at a Hayley concert is a mindblowing experience. And this was an exceptional concert. Not only was Hayley in very fine voice, this is perhaps her best setlist ever. I'm sure Hayley has refined her repertoire over the years, choosing the songs that work best, depending on the musicians that are accompanying her. This time she had a full orchestra and a very fine orchestra too, and she made the most of it. That is what made it such a magical night. I know that if it had been up to me to choose the songs I would like to hear Hayley sing, I could hardly have done any better. Well, I would have included "Listen to the Wind" and "Nada Sousou" perhaps (in my current bereaved state they both move me to tears), but I don't know what I could have taken out. "Let me Lie" was a fabulous idea, the best ever rendition of that song I think. "Amalia", fantastic performance, "Scarborough fair", I have always loved it (the second most popular video on my YouTube channel even now, when it has been there since 2009), "Dream a little Dream", love the way Hayley sings this, "My Heart Belongs to You", wonderful as always, "Metti", first time I've seen this live, not an easy song to sing I'm sure (it's the breathing), "who painted the moon back", and oldie but a goodie, "I Beleive", well anything from that album is fabulous, and I wish she would do more, but that is a fantastic song and she sings it brilliantly. And that, all too soon, was the end of the first half. "You Raise me Up" might be a bit hackneyed, a classical crossover standard that has been performed by so many people, but Hayley does it proud. "What you never know", I love to hear this, Hayley couldn't remember which album it was on - I said Oddysey, but obviously not loudly enough as Hayley didn't hear me despite being so close. Then followed her mini set which she said was dedicated to singers she admires. First was "I know you by Heart", the song Eva Cassidy recorded shortly before she died far too young. Then "Close to You", by Karen Carpenter, another wonderful singer who died too young (is there a theme developing here). Then "Over the Rainbow", no mention of which singer that was dedicated to, but the first time I heard Hayley sing that I was blown away, and still am. This was done without the orchestra, just Hayley with Tim on the piano, this is Tim's own arrangement of this song, and it is wonderful. "I Dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables followed. No idea which singer she admires had inspired that, but I hope it wasn't a certain singer made famous by "Britain's Got Talent". After a lovely performance of "Send in the Clowns" by the orchestra, particularly featuring the leader on what I think must be quite a valuable old violin, perhaps a Strad, Hayley came back to perform "Summer Fly", "Wuthering Heights" (another bereavement song - well almost) which Hayley has been singing for as long as I can remember, and her finale, "Bridge Over Troubled Water", a song I have always loved, and believe me, nobody sings it better than Hayley. Perhaps she should try some more Paul Simon songs. Then to the encores. I admit I has sneaked a look at the setlist, taped to the stage in front of her as usual, during the interval. There were three encores listed, and she sang two of them, "Amazing grace" and "Never Saw Blue". The one we missed out on was "La Califfa". This was an absolutely wonderful concert. It lifted me and made me forget my own personal problems. It made me realise that there is still a life worth living, even if the one I love and had built my life around is no longer with us. I can never thank Hayley enough. Or Comet, for that matter. Was this one of Hayley's best shows ever? Without a doubt. Perhaps the best of all, despite the many wonderful experiences I have had at her shows. I now understand why people travel half way round the world to hear her in concert. She is worth it.

Thanks for the reminder Grant. I was sure I had heard her perform "Let Me Lie" live before, but couldn't remember where off the top of my head. Must have been Stoke.
