What sis you expect once the Poppy Appeal is over? The big thing now is Christmas. Remembrance Day is soon forgotten by all except those directly affected. Which is probably most of us if wee look at members of our families a few generations back. Same thing will happen with the Christmas singles too, they will peak in week one then drop 30 to 50 places in week two! Seems to be the way of the World for themed songs, in this day of the digital single: target them for a particular week then drop 'em like a ton of bricks! Cheers, Dave

Which means of course that you need to target when you buy such singles if you want to help them top the charts. Mind you, they probably won't be available in supermarkets etc. outside that period anyway.

The Poppy Girls' album 'No Need To Say Goodbye' has entered this week's UK Albums Chart at No.62. www.officialcharts.com/albums-chart/Sadly 'The Call (No Need To Say Goodbye)' has dropped out of the UK Singles Chart. Richard
