I really don't know very many Japanese words at all. All I know is the ones Hayley has taught us... Konichiwa, Arigato, and now, Konbanwa. That's it! That's one word more than I know of Chinese, and that's from Hayley too. I have no idea how to spell them, though.

Oh Yes, "Ah so" in English is quite similar to Japanese "Ahso". Those two languages are totally different but "Ahso" has surprisingly similar meanings. But when we speak to elderly people, we say, "Ahso-desuka". We need to put "desuka" to add the meaning of politeness.
