Oh, she didn't complain at all, Paige. It was after a concert in NZ, I'm pretty sure it was 2008. Graeme from Australia took a photo of her making an "angry face"; the expression was apparently by request, so she wasn't the least bit upset or angry. Yep, I was right, it was in Kerikeri, NZ, 2008. In fact, I guessed the date exactly right (I can't do that for everything, though. LOL). And yes, it is in Graeme's signature, but here's the original photo as posted, plus the link to the thread in case you want to read more: "... Hi, Haven't found anything about Jeff Franzel working with Hayley at the Tile Yard the first week of June as previously mentioned. We do, however, have proof that he arrived there by the Instagram below of June 6th. It leaves me wondering why Hayley's next album is being kept so tightly under wraps. Yeah, starting to wonder if it won't be until next year. It's just taking forEVER!  Everyday, checking twitter for any remote clue, searching google every so often. I've even thought of checking the music websites for the new album, though that's extremely unlikely at this point! I mean, can't we just get a hint at when it might come out? Nobody has to say what the album is like yet, just WHEN!?!  I remember that the first article announcing Hayley's collaboration with Ennio Morricone was in June 2010, and back then, it said the album would be out that October. While that certainly didn't happen, it just shows that an album can be announced 4 months away from intended release. It's 4 months from my predicted (more like wishful-thinking) release, so unless it's announced pretty soon, it probably won't be till next year.  It just frustrates me a little that it could go longer than the usual 2 year wait... Well, it already has, but just barely. |

All it means is that no decision has been taken yet. They are probably still thinking and talking about the best strategy. Once they make the decisions, it can all happen pretty quickly. It is all a far cry from HSJS1, which I remember was made in 3 weeks!

See the recent photos of Hayley having fun in London with friends? I wonder if she's finally had some time off to relax, which means the album work might be tapering off... which hopefully means all the main work is done. I certainly hope so. There could still be recording to do, though, but, even if she does the whole album all at once (I'm still convinced she's already recorded some of it), that usually doesn't take more than a week. |

I came here to complain about a complainer on the official forum. I can't complain there because I'm a moderator, so I came here to complain. LOL There was someone on the official forum yesterday who posted in a thread, which she created in early 2013, called "What's happened to Hayley?" I didn't even remember all that, though I did reply to it. Anyway, yesterday she was saying how 2 years ago she came onto the forum wondering about the lack of concerts and TV appearances in the UK, etc. (even though she'd just toured the UK with Paradiso barely a year from her first complaint... I mean, post ), and now here she is again wondering the same thing, as well as about a new album, when is she ever going to have a new album, etc. I understand the impatience for Hayley's new album, but she doesn't even seem aware of anything Hayley's been up to at all. As if she never reads any of the forums, yet in her first post, she complained how the "other" forum (this one) seems to have more posts about other artists than Hayley herself (which is not true!). If she really read the forums, she would have known that Hayley hasn't been idle all this time. I honestly don't know what she's complaining about. I responded by first telling her what Hayley told us in Madison about when her album might be out. Then I gave her a brief timeline of what Hayley had accomplished since her last complaint... I mean, post. LOL Hushabye, including TV & radio appearances, her Union Chapel concert, her wedding, her 3 concerts in 2014, and her album work the past year. I pointed out (gently) that working on album takes time and that it's a lot to expect an artist to be touring a bunch at the same time they're working hard on an album. No response yet. I also pointed her to a thread that I started, similar to this one, where I posted about the songwriters we've discovered she's working with (Jeff Franzel, Pam Sheyne, and Stephan Moccio). I didn't post everything we've found yet, since the forum is a little slow, and sometimes it seems like I'm just talking to myself (*cough* comet and Martin *cough*). Since nobody ever responds, it sometimes seems like nobody cares about anything I post, it's kind of discouraging to be the moderator over there sometimes, but I won't quit anytime soon. Anyway, I felt like complaining because I honestly found this lady's posts very annoying. And I posted here because right now she's mainly complaining about the lack of album. I tried to tell her to just hang on a little while longer, because I'm sure Hayley's almost done with her album and will announce it soon (and I am pretty sure of that, too). |

First off, I knew there was a story that goes with the Hayley picture with her arms up in the air. The one you indentified as her being angry. Interesting... never looked up the story so thank you for the background. As far as the complainer goes, Libby, I can understand unfortuately. Don't kill me! lol I mean Hayley is not all over the news or anything. Well maybe in Britain, but it can be hard to keep up with an international singer if you don't have "on the site" fans bringing you the lastest coverage on Hayley's where abouts. Plus this fan seems to be like us! Antsy for the new record and upcoming concerts! Who isn't? I know I am! I want to see Hayley perform again! Alicia |

Hello Libby and Alicia!  I can sympathise with the complainer to a certain extent, but I think she's too focused on Hayley to have any interest in other artists. I choose to like a few others, not too many, and I've just changed my profile picture on Facebook to a more recent photo! Richard |

Don't get me wrong, Richard, I also have other musical interests as well. And those artists can keep me very busy. I mean Josh Groban released his new album and touring later this year. Blackmore's Night is releasing a new album in September! And Celine is coming back to Vegas in August, which I going to see!! Sorry I'm getting excited for my trip! haha Oh, I saw John Fogerty this past June with my mom and sister! Great concert btw! And I am always exploring the vaults of music history! For example, earlier this year I was introduced to Guns'N Roses. So I have been playing them the last couple months. But no one fills Hayley's spot so I just wait patiently...(and cur that GNR song!) Sorry for the nonsense chatter, and glad for the updated photo on Facebook! I need to do this as well! Uhh...is this HWI's Facebook page? Alicia |
