Yes! I'd love to hear I know you by heart too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OYxmJmBQc8 It'd be difficult to top that video as she performed it perfectly back then. Those who say Hayley has no emotion should see this. That's the thing, even four years back she was singing perfectly with emotion Personally I think she always had it. In my opinion if I were to put hayley under a genre that works best for her, I'd put her among songs like, I know you by heart, Never saw blue, Songbird, Talk to me, Close to you. You can't call it pop, nor classical, I think that's the balance Hayley is going towards, all gentle songs, but perfect feel, I don't think anyone else can convey the emotion in these songs better than Hayley. These songs tell a story, a simple one, truly beautiful. EDIT: Dunno if it's just me, but that she has sung this song after many years along with talk to me and a new song in the same genre, makes me believe that these are possible tracks from her new album I bet it'll be the best ever. (Something also tells me Bridge over troubled water will be in it XD)

I'm not a huge fan of classical music itself but sometimes it depends on who actually sings it! My taste sits comfortably with classical crossover and I thought on Friday Hayley delivered everything perfectly. It was a beautiful setting as well. I really only went out of curiosity as I was in London for the weekend but fair to say it is an evening I will remember. Looking forward to the album Treasure which Amazon has now said has been despatched!

Right, time for another one. This is a song I have had several unsuccessful attempts to video at various concerts. The problem always is she always moves about a lot when she sings it. But because I have always loved it, I persisted. This time though it isn't too bad so I have uploaded it. Hope you like it. youtu.be/ME4FGHFUFSUEnjoy! Martin D

It was absolutely astonishing Just got home today, and thus access to a computer. A review is fourthcoming, I can assure you Hello Joar, it's good to hear from you and that you enjoyed the concert! If you are able to upload it to Youtube I'll be glad to see what can be done about the audio. If you don't want it to be publically viewable yet, you could mark it as "Unlisted" and send me the link in a private message. Or if you prefer, upload it to a file hosting site and send me the link. To everyoneWe already have quite a lot of videos from the concert and I know there are more on the way, so can I just add that I will be posting all of them on a special page on our main HWI website as soon as possible, mostly as embedded Youtube videos so the correct Youtube channels get all the hits. I think the page will have to be be quite a big one! If anyone doesn't want me to add their video(s), or wants more details, just send me a private message or post a comment on the page, when it's up. I'll be adding selected photos and quotes from members' reviews, as well. And a great big thank you to everyone who took the trouble to make these videos, photos and post reviews - if anyone has videos that they don't know what to do with or how, just let me know. Cheers, Dave

You are welcome Dave. I know I have hardly scratched the surface yet with the ones I have. I will post them all in this thread eventually, then you can decide what to do with them. I think that this was such a special concert that a special page is justified, and as always I am quite happy for my videos to be used in any way to promote Hayley, provided nobody is trying to sell them (and I have seen that believe me).

That type of music suits her well and usually are my favorites out of all the others. But, I'd still like it if she could still be considered classical crossover. I mean, Josh Groban never sings any classical arias anymore, but he's still featured on crossover websites and radio stations, so he still seems to fit into that genre somewhat.

Thanks for the new videos! Martin, I was hoping for Mummer's Dance, too, but I was afraid it wasn't new enough for you to record. What on earth was she talking about right before Who Painted the Moon? I can hardly hear anything she says in these videos. And she sounded wonderful on YRMU, but it would be nice to have it in its entirety...

Hello folks! I've already posted three videos directly on our Facebook page as a taster for our followers there. I'm now going to wait for Dave to publish the new page on our website, then I'll post a link to that. There's clearly a consensus that Hayley's guitar playing was one of the many highlights of the evening. I hope she will develop the idea in the future, because she was able to connect with the audience much better than when she played the piano in previous concerts, as Jillian pointed out. Richard

Yes, I agree, I too enjoyed Hayley's guitar playing although she only played 3 chords, C Major, G7 and D Minor, which are usually the first ones anyone learns on a guitar. I'm hoping she knows a few more than that, and was just being careful, knowing that she had to sing at the same time. Or perhaps when she wrote that song, she was much more of a beginner on the instrument than she is now.
I too would like to encourage her to play the guitar on stage more often. It was delightful.
