Is it just me or do amazon seem to be selling Hushabye at a high price ( by their standards) currently it is up as £10.04 I paid £9.80 because of the pre-order guarantee, but for it to be £10 is unusual for amazon, I would expect £9 something but not as high as £10 or more, just seems strange.

I just placed my large order with amazon.co.uk! Easy as pie too! So that's one Hushabye to me, One to Becky Kiesel, the presenter of the Classical Crossover show on KITC-FM (with a gift message) One to our competition winner Eos (with a gift message) i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm thinking the 24th of June for my deliveries!!! Edit...I've created a Where to buy Hushabye thread , and I've moved our threads in which we talk about retailers and where we can purchase the album.

Susie Yes, strange. They gave me a refund of £1.10 because they say the price went down after I ordered it. Martin D

OK, so Hushabye is out on digital downloads now, in the UK. iTunes costs 79p a track or £9.99 for the De-Luxe edition all 16 tracks. Amazon costs 79p a track or £7.49 for the standard edition all 13 tracks. iTunes downloads are encoded as AAC and 256kbps variable bitrate, Amazon are encoded as mp3 and 256 kbps variable bitrate, so iTunes quality should be slightly higher than Amazon for the sharp of hearing, if using excellent audio gear. Amazon is a few pence per track cheaper than iTunes if buying the complete album. You pays your money and takes your choice. The question is... can I resist getting the complete iTunes album now, or just get the extra tracks and wait 12 hours for the CD?

My copy has just arrived! I don't think I remember a time that my post arrived before 3pm but I'm not complaining! I wish I could have a listen now but I've got a day of meetings at uni all day, I don't want to fall asleep and miss any I'm tempted to take the CD with me though because one of the professors is going to have a baby soon and another three have just had babies, if I can mention it at some point in the conversation haha...try my best to encourage them to buy a copy (each, obviously ) Can't wait to have a listen though. I wish I hadn't broken my iPod the other day, can't really afford to buy another one anytime soon...looks like I'll have to wait a while before getting the iTunes one...I'd really like the three extra tracks, my mum thinks I'm being too greedy though Oddly, amazon have refunded me £3.20 They've already refunded me £1.10, now a further £3.20 for Hushabye Sing

Is anyone here willing to help me buy the UK album from iTunes? I already ordered the physical amazon CD, but still want the itunes version (possibly early!)
Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully we can work something out. iTune's region restrictions are quite annoying and I'd rather not wait for the U.S. version to come out.

Hi everyone,
Have any UK members checked the supermarkets yet, for Hushabye availability at their bricks and mortar stores?
Cheers, Dave

Mine arrived today! I haven't listened to it yet. Amazon seem to be doing strange things.
Dave I went into Sainsbury's in one of my nearest towns and they have it at number 61 priced £9.99. It's not in a prominent place annoyingly, at first I thought they did not have it!

Well, Amazon let me down again, Hushabye didn't arrive today. How long will it take this time. I didn't get River of Dreams from them until the Friday of the release week - I should have learned my lesson about pre-ordering UK releases from Amazon by now. How long do I wait before I go and get a copy in a supermarket like it did with ROD? Of course that means I end up with a surplus copy. I wonder if posing it back to Amazon and asking for a refund would make the point to them. Grrr....

It's not in a prominent place annoyingly, at first I thought they did not have it! Susie Hi Susie and everyone, I did the rounds this evening and there was no Hushabye in Asda or Tesco - though Asda was disorganised and they clearly hadn't finished setting everything out. I fared much better in Sainsburys, like you I found it at no. 61 there but this includes all the compilation CDs so it's equivalent to much better in the Artist chart. And I liked it so much that I bought the Company er... CD! It was in a good eye-level position on the Sainsbury's shelves and now, a couple of them mysteriously seem to have found their way up to the "Bargain of the Week" top shelf... no idea how that could have happened! If it doesn't appear in Tesco and Asda this week, that will seriously hurt it's official chart position but I have in the past known both of them to correct misjudgements the following week, so we musn't lose hope. If Hushabye does well at Sainsburys, Amazon and iTunes it could yet force Asda and Tesco to eat humble pie, next week. Cheers, Dave
