Hi, I'm a photo bucket user. I was wondering if any of you who also use the site could help me. I'm trying to add more than one photo with another image, and make it into another image, with that new image included in it (if that makes any sense). I did it once before, with this image below: I use it for my signature on the Josh Groban forum, to display all her most current, most commercially available albums (particularly in the US). I wanted to add Hushabye to the line-up. I actually was able to add the photo within the forum itself, so it's okay for now. And so now it looks sort of like this, but a little more lined up: But I'm just wondering if anybody knows how I could do that in photobucket, or any other image website. And as I say, when I first created that image, I was able to do it in photobucket, but now I just can't find any way at all to do it. I also wonder how other people are able to add artwork to photos, like Jillian was able to for those Hayley banners she created, and that some of you are still using now (Richard, for one). Where, and how on earth do you manage things like that? I even tried to see if I could do it with the Windows image stuff, where I have my pictures stored, but there's nothing.

Well, for some reason, Photobucket has changed photo editors several times in the past year. Don't know why. Just wish they had the old one back. You could do a whole lot more w/ it. For my banners, I usually just use Picasa. Nice and simple. To do what you want (if you don't want to download any software), just open up Power Point, insert & line up your images, and take a screen shot (Control-Print Screen). Then open Paint, paste (Control-V), crop, and save. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I'd say go with Picasa like Taylor suggested. It's free of course, and once you have the photos you want selected, you just go to Collage and it basically does everything for you. Useful program to have in general

Hello Libby! My signature banner is just a straight copy of Jillian's original uploaded to my own Photobucket library. Richard

Hi Libby,
I use photobucket too, but I've never used its editor. Instead I do all my editing beforehand locally, then upload the result. There are many programs about that will enable you to edit image files.

Hello Libby! My signature banner is just a straight copy of Jillian's original uploaded to my own Photobucket library. Richard I know that Richard. Thanks for the tips. I don't have Picasa. I remember the name, though, so I think my family's computer had it at one time. I do have Power Point, but I haven't used that program since high school! I graduated 10 years ago this June!!! I feel so old now.... Anyway, I guess I'll try Power Point, although it sounds complicated with all the rest of it. And for anyone who's wondering, I got my signature idea from this poster:

My honest advice is to use GIMP, which is a free graphics program you can get here. It's what I use for all wallpapers, banners and other graphic-y type stuff I do. It may look a bit overwhelming to start with, but for something as simple as making a banner even someone with no knowledge of graphics programs should be OK. After all, I was!

I'm afraid I gave up with GIMP Elliot. And I'm someone who has almost half a century's experience of working with computers. But I couldn't get my brain round that. I currently use something called Variations. Problem is it is only available on RISC OS. But since RISC OS runs on the Raspberry Pi, one of those wouldn't break the bank. Probably cheaper than Virtual Acorn on a PC (an ARM emulator that allows a PC to run RISC OS). Variations is free though. Or you can just use Paint like most amateurs.

I'm far less experienced with computers than you, Martin, but for what Libby wants - which is basically extending her banner and adding a single new image to the end - GIMP is pretty near perfect. It would probably take about ten minutes at most. *** Less than five, as it turned out! Please put on your own bandwidth if you use it, Libby. Thanks

I'll have to look into gimp, and I don't really understand the bandwidth part, but for now, do you mind if I just copy and paste your image? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I just wish Hushabye didn't look so fuzzy.

Libby, I just meant please host it on your own photobucket account if you use it (Though if I were you, I'd probably use Bamafan's excellent banner instead, assuming it was within forum guidelines And you're welcome

Seeing the new signature for Libby reminds me to update my Hayley sheet at work. I have a sheet containing an image of Hayley, along wih CD covers, and pics of HWI gatherings

Thanks, Taylor and Elliot! I'll have to try the new one in the forum, but I'm guessing I may need to re-size it a bit. I like this very much, thank you! Joe, what exactly is a "Hayley sheet"? Is it like a poster? I tried sticking one of comet's great stickers on my locker at work, but it got taken down, along with other people's decorations. Oh well, not like anyone was going to pay attention to it, anyway.

Okay, I saved it and re-sized it in photobucket. It looks fine in photobucket, but the whole thing turns out of focus when I put it on the forum. Especially Hushabye. The image dimensions can be no larger than 500 x 200, so I made it 500 x 70.
