on the subject of the new album being called Lullabies (for adults) I suppose Bridge over Troubled water could be considered an adult lullaby. How about You've got a friend as another track on the album (Just guessing) Maybe Angel of the Morning. Sometimes when we touch. Anyone else got any guesses at tracks that might be considered as lullabies for adults ? Hi Paul, I would like Hayley to sing the Coldplay track "Fix You". I first heard it sang by female vices on the BBC Big Sing by the Cantamus Girls Choir in 2006. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwvs_8Q6I6k

Hi Jillian, Yes it's a shame it had already been taken by some Canadian opera singer. Just found this tidbit from the blog of Painted Black (who provided the dresses for the photoshoot).

Why on earth would they use such an old photo? Is it only because it's the one they used for the single of Weigenlied, which is a lullaby? Good grief, why don't they just have a blank image until official cover art is released? Of course, why do they have the info out at all before any official announcements have been made, is the real question. Am I imagining things, or did Amazon originally say "Lullabies", but this site says "Lullaby"? Because the name "Lullaby" rather than "Lullabies", actually makes a huge difference on first impressions. It doesn't automatically make you think it's literally an album full of lullabies for babies. I could definitely live with that title, and it makes much more sense as a "real" Hayley album. And it definitely doesn't give you the impression that it's a broadway album. July 11th.. as of now, that's an unofficial tour date for Josh Groban in my area. Another one of those unofficially announced, yet still advertised things. Anyway, if it's really released then, and the concert is really that day, I wouldn't be able to actually buy the CD in person till another day, probably. But yes, I definitely want to buy it in person! I did last time, but because I ordered it to my closest B &N store, not because they actually carried it. However, the downtown Seattle store did have it in store! I didn't go there because there was all that scary protesting going on nearby! I did not feel comfortable braving that, but I'm hoping this time nothing like that will be going on, so I can shop in peace! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

OH. MY. GOSH. I love it! Wish we could tell more... But as it's so closely cropped to her face, it's not as easy to tell if this was an indoor or on-location shoot. However, I'm putting my money on indoor... Idk. And I'm still extremely sceptical about "Lullaby" being the title. You can still find online CD stores that offer "Eternal". It's even listed on her YouTube artist page as being her album instead of (Celtic) "Treasure". So I'm still wary. Yall didn't know the cover or title of "Paradiso" until, like, less than a month before the release, right? Oh, and it has a UPC now, too: 028948103515 However, "Eternal" also has a UPC (however useless it may be): 028947585183 So we still can't jump to conclusions. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Yes, Dave , you are right. The only new thing we might know is that Hayley bought that dress. I have never seen that picture before though. I wonder when it was taken! Must be pretty recent. But yes, let's wait until we really know something. You can be sure that as soon as any of us know anything definite, it will be posted here.

Yall didn't know the cover or title of "Paradiso" until, like, less than a month before the release, right? Hi Taylor, That's right - although we knew it would be a Morricone album nearly a year earlier, Ross discovered the album cover and album name on April Fools Day in 2011. But it was true! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThe first release was in NZ only three weeks later but I think that was probably a rush-release following the Christchurch earthquake two months earlier, and Hayley's involvement in the memorial concert. I would be astonished if anything happened as quickly as that, once we know the cover and title this year! My guess is for a spread of release dates between June (that was when the first non-NZ release of Paradiso came out) and early September, i.e. before Hayley gets involved in rehearsals for "David Essex". So, summer in the northern hemisphere. I have my own theory as to the name, perhaps it's not so different from what we originally thought, but obviously not the same. We might find out next week. Cheers, Dave

I have never seen that picture before though. I wonder when it was taken! Must be pretty recent. I know exactly when it was taken. April 5th, probably somewhere between 8 AM and 3 PM UK time. Hayley told us herself. And here are some other photos of the dress - absolutely stunning! Front: Back: Sold! And it's (almost) a lovely HWI blue. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Wow! Well, obviously, Hayley chose it first! But apparently she and I both thought it would suit her beautifully! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif It's fun to know that the first dress I saw which I thought suited Hayley best is actually one that she chose! I'm also very glad to at least see a current photo, not only current, but BRAND NEW! And obviously it's from her recent album photoshoot. It might not be the album cover, but it's very likely that it will show up in the album somewhere. I'm surprised they're showing it so soon, but I'm not complaining! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHey, and both those links Jillian provided said the release was actually the 11th of June, rather than the 17th. However, I think her albums are normally released in the UK on Mondays, so I'd say the 17th is more likely. Also, in the US, albums are normally released on Tuesday, so I would hope the US release is not really on July 11th, which is a Thursday. Hey, but June 11th is a Tuesday! Not trying to speculate, just pointing out possibilities. Anyway, I think it's fun to speculate, personally, and don't see much harm in it. I know, you could make this into the "2013 Album Speculation" thread. Then, once we have all the real, official information, make that into a new thread. Just an idea, so we who like to speculate can have fun speculating all we like.
