Hushabye (General thread)

Personally, I just want to put Hushabye in the past; pretend it never happened and eagerly anticipate the new album that Hayley is now ... according to Woman's Day... writing!

Yes, Martin, we all saw the shots of Kate & Will emerging from the hospital, and saw it played over and over. In fact, at the store where I work, there's still a magazine with their (all 3) faces on the cover. But to me it's very old news, and am quite ready to move on. Especially since he's, what, almost 4 months old? And if the CD is nowhere to be found on the Toys R US website, then there's no "better late than never" about anything. Nobody seems to have realized that the CD is not available there, despite UMC's announcement, no matter how many times I say it.

Believe me, I'm way more interested in Hayley's wedding, and will be much more interested in her children than the Royals, if I'm honest.

Oh, come on. I'm just trying to find a bright side. And, just because it's not on the website doesn't mean it's not available in at least some stores. The same thing happens with merchandise at plenty of other stores. Perfect example: At my Walgreens, there are always a few CDs at the front, including Andrea Bocelli's newest album. But is it to be found on their site? No.

Just saying.

I can't wait to hear this new Christmas single! Sounds exciting. And it can't be too long! Christmas is just over a month away!

That is a great photo of the Portsmouth Citadel Salvation Army Band...thanks Jim for sharing that tweet! I'm pleased that Hayley, Aled Jones, Terry Wogan and the Bond Quartet are working with the SA band for a charity Christmas single!

Oh, well, I won't be going into Toys R Us anytime soon, so if anyone else cares to investigate, feel free. But I already have my copies, so I'm not going to worry myself about it anymore. Since it hasn't been promoted anywhere, I don't see it doing much good being sold there, anyway.

Now, I'm guessing Hayley might be back in London by now, or at least tomorrow. But her tweets are few and far between these days, so no way to tell until she tells us!

Well, Libby, she could just as easily slip over to New Zealand for a few days between Vietnam and Hong Kong. And with a wedding to organise there, it might be useful.

It's pretty bad that non-Itunes users can't even look at the site without downloading Itunes first. Itunes isn't for everyone. I guess I'll take a chance and share the link on the official forum, even though I'm unable to read what it says.

Maybe listening to this album wasn't the best choice for writing my dissertation lol, although BOTW I've had on repeat and finished three quarters of my dissertation, ended up falling asleep to the rest of it though- sort of embarrassing to have your lecturer wake you up in the library haha.
In other news, my sister's school is apparently giving out copies of this album to the ten people who perform best in their upcoming GCSE exams= they will probably need all the sleep they can get by then LOL. I think it's a good idea for getting more people to listen to Hayley- provided they listen to it of course.
