Hi everyone, The video interview is also available HERE. I love when she says that once she bought a mini-amplifier, everyone could hear her while she was busking. She giggles at that and it is very sweet. Hi Stephany Great interview but WHY do they have to mention Charlotte Church I'm sure I caught an "Oh not again" look from Hayley for a fraction of a second ) I'm sure you're right about the top Hayley was wearing. It does look very much like the one from Ulysses. Did anyone notice that the ringlets are back? So Hayley's found a little bit of time to be pampered by a hairdresser. Oh!! Or maybe her mum did it Best wishes Grant

Great interview but WHY do they have to mention Charlotte Church I'm sure I caught an "Oh not again" look from Hayley for a fraction of a second ) Best wishes Grant It gets back to just how powerful initial impressions can be. There is an innate human tendancy to categorize things by the perception to which they are similar. Part of it has to do with the superficial similarities - ie they both became stars as teenagers singing crossover. But there is something else at play here in my opinion. Because CC came first, and because her sales were better, she is going to continue to be the standard by which other young crossover singers are measured. It doesnt even really matter how alike or unalike they are. If Hayley does something like Charlotte there is the comparison. If she does something unlike Charlotte there is the contrast. This will fade over time of course, and may in fact already be fading. Nonetheless, I suspect it may be quite some time before it fades away entirely.. Jon

The CC comparisons are inevitable, especially when Hayley continues to record so many songs she's done first like Danny Boy, Last Rose of Summer and Bist Du Bei Mir (CC's "If Thou Art Near"). At last count they had something like 15 songs in common! Of course, Sissel and Brightman also overlap profusely with Hayley, but they're a generation older.

I just listened to "Scaborough Fair" once again, and it looks like it's the same arrangement that is on the "CW - A New Journey" CD. Slightly different from the one featured on my "Odyssey S.E" CD. I really like this version ! I don't know why they didn't want her to sing "One Fine Day", though. Hi Stephany I must admit I thought the the performance of Scarborough Fair mirrowed the Odyssey version exactly which pleased me as that is more the traditional English version. But I might be wrong! Hi Martin, I'll have to listen to it again - it's very possible that I mixed the two different versions and wrongly assumed that it was the CW version when I actually thought about the Odyssey version. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif(I don't know if what I say makes sense ) EDIT : Martin, I listened to my Odyssey album once again, and you are absolutely right, it mirrowed very well this version - it was the one I had in mind, too. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi all, Yes, it would be lovely for Hayley to have her own show. I've just watched the clip of "Scarborough Fair" and the interview with Kerri Anne. I liked the bit where Hayley explained her early busking...complete with amplifier! Cheers, Joe

Hello folks! I thought Hayley gave a very impressive rendition of 'Scarborough Fair', but Kerri-Anne then gave her a new microphone for the interview. Possibly one was set up for singing and the other for speech. Rodders, Cadogan Hall would be an excellent venue for a TV series with Hayley, and I'd want to be in the audience for every show! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

G`Day itz Paul N (aka atefooterz) i did the pure scans & some vids for here, a while ago "back in the day". Thanks heaps to Dori for posting the YouTube links , i was having difficulties getting back on this site but my IE7 is now sorted ! Did Hayley do any instore or anything in Sydney ? My request for info on the Official Forum was unanswered + no mention of anything there. I find it impossible to get any "heads up", here ,for promotions = grrr haha. I have the show taped on hard Drive in HD ,except i do not have any way to share the thing sadly ,so the DivX is the best you can have. A shame because the sound quality on the HD file is amazing . If anyone knows any boffins who have an idea ( & free software ) i will be happy to make that available. Some "clickable Thumbs to see full size Pics" It is a shame the old GMA Show is not around any more as the images would be true HD at 1920 x 1080 size = yumm
