Cool interview. I like that she said she's been writing; I'd love to hear more Hayley originals. I don't understand why she still hasn't released an album of original material, she's clearly a talented songwriter.

-Rory Hi Rory and welcome to HWI from me here in Central England. I believe the reason we haven't seen an album of original material from Hayley yet is that she is not satisfied that she has enough material good enough. Despite the very favourable comments from her fans regarding what she has given us so far, Hayley is her own biggest critic and won't do anything until she herself is completely satisfied with the material she has. Having said that, we know Hayley is writing at the moment - well, potentially for the next album anyway so I live in hope that we may see an album of self penned material very soon. I'm also hoping that some, at least, may be guitar solos giving Hayley the opportunity to play guitar on stage. Hi Grant,
Well, we might as well carry on off topic. Hayley is off the radar at the moment and has been all year. I think she will have a lot of catching up to do when she returns. there has been some good stuff, so I hope she makes the effort.

Sorry for steering a bit off topic! But as a musician I can understand what it's like to be very critical about your own material. Still, at this point Hayley has gotta be close to having perfected her originals - she's had many years to write and refine them. And Grant I would love to see Hayley playing the guitar live! We got into that discussion a bit in the "Hayley Playing Instruments" thread. From the trace clips I've seen she clearly can play, I hope she feels the same way herself!
