These games are being held next Summer in Cali, Columbia. Wikipedia indicates that Hayley will be performing in the opening ceremony on 25th July (she also appeared at the Games in 2009). TO BE CONFIRMED! Martin

I assume you mean Santiago de Cali, in Colombia Martin. If this is true it is fantastic news again. I will never forget the 2009 World Games performances. If she can do the same again in Colombia - wow, South America conquered. Thrilled for her.

Hi everyone, It's wise to be cautious about this as it seems to be based on that brief comment on the Wikipedia World Games 2013 page, with no external link, and all Wikipedia information is supposed to link to an external source (with no original research). The only other source I have found so far is Hayley's name on a fitness website, which has a page about the World Games 2013. It's possible Wikipedia was updated from that - but who knows where they got their information from, or if it's anything other than a rumour or assumption, based on her appearance at the last two World Games? Clearly though, the World Games Committee like her so let's just say it's "possible". I'm sure if anyone finds out more they will post it but for now, we won't be adding it to our 'Hayley' schedules and I've amended the thread title to add "possible". Cheers, Dave

Wow, that would be great if she could participate again! But, I think the rise to super-stardom that she experienced in Taiwan is not likely to be repeated in Colombia. You didn't see her become as big of a star in Germany, did you? True, she does seem to have a lot of fans from Germany. But Asia just seems to be the place to become famous for CC singers (and figure skaters!). I find that people in Asian countries are very enthusiastic fans, no matter who they're a fan of! If you'd been sitting in front of very excitable Japanese figure skating fans like I was 2 weeks ago at Skate America, you'd know understand what I mean! LOL

This would be awesome!! I wonder if these games would be televised on regular TV? If so, it would be a big shot in the arm for Hayley.
