Stunning performance! After seeing the classic brit pics and suddenly this, wow she luked absolutely beautiful and sang perfectly. I love how she's wearing long gowns these days  Make up was really beautiful too : D And she sings the song so much better now. Well worth the wait, and thanks dave for uploading it real quick. |

Thanks for the videos Dave!! unfortunately I can't hear them as well as I'd like at the moment after having ear surgery yesterday but hopefully my hearing will get back to 'normal within the next few days I'll have another listen then, but anyway, I think the performance looked stunning and I love Hayley's dress!! Hi Libby and all, Yes they missed out the 'y', grrr!!! Meanwhile, remember I said you can't get HD out of a Sky HD box, well I kind of did, I just photographed the TV screen to get a better shot of Hayley's dress until something better comes along! Didn't think it would work very well but...  Hayley sings Jerusalem at the Stobart Super League Grand Final 2012 And another one...  Hayley is about to sing at the Stobart Super League Grand Final 2012 in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand ...at Old Trafford, Manchester - Theatre of Dreams - home of Manchester United Football Club! Thanks for the vids Dave and the pictures Jillian.
I was wondering about her shoes, and how she avoided her heels sinking into the ground on that long walk to the podium. That carpet must be strong stuff, since she appears to have significant heels. (That's the engineer in me thinking).

Maybe it's just me, but I would've chosen that dress over the green one for the CBA, but I always do like the sparkly dresses best. Plus, it's pink, and the dress on the cover of Paradiso was pink too, even if not the same shade. Oh well, her look was still very elegant at the awards, and her hair was extra pretty, so I'm not complaining. I wonder how she decides what to wear for these games. Sometimes she's worn more casual outfits, like a top, coat, and pants, and then once she wore that red dress for Abide With Me, which was certainly not very flashy. So, I was not expecting the likes of this dress for this event, but I was very surprised and pleased to see it! |
