Hi all, I'm sure a lot of you will remember the two classical singers from this year's Britain's got Talent- Jonathan and Charlotte... Their first album is out now and they have a two page article in this weeks (1st Oct) Hello! magazine Here's a link to their album on Amazon: www.amazon.co.uk/Together-Jonathan-Charlotte/dp/B008ACC9CM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348776831&sr=8-1 Although it appears to be mostly Italian songs, or English songs translated into Italian, it looks like a really good album. I've asked for it for my birthday, hopefully I'll get it then, looks like I'll have to be patient for the next two weeks lol best wishes Sing

I've just realised, Jonathan and Charlotte's album 'Together' entered the main UK Albums Chart at No.5 last week, but it's dropped to No.7 this week. www.officialcharts.com/albums-chart/Richard

Thanks Richard It's a pity it's dropped down 2 places but I hope it stays within the top ten for a while, it does deserve to do well. best wishes Susan

I saw Jonathan Antoine at the Royal British Legion's London Poppy Day event in Covent Garden yesterday. He followed Lucy Kay and sang four songs, 'La Donna E Mobile', 'Be My Love', 'Parla Più Piano' (from ‘The Godfather’) and 'Panis Angelicus'. He sang well and managed some banter with the audience, discreetly plugging his album. He posted this photo on his Facebook page: Richard

Jonathan Antoine's highly-anticipated debut solo album, Tenore is Marty Whelan's album of the week on RTE Lyric Fm.
(Even though Marty was away on holiday, no track from the album seems to have been played all week)
The music industry got their way again and managed to split Jonathan and Charlotte, a rather charming combination of voices, yes I did buy their album with hard cash in Tower records.
But I suppose "They" know what is best for us, what would we know about what we might like ourselves.
Take what is served to you and eat it, be a good little consumer now and toddle along, don't go rockin' the boat.

Well, Paul, that's what they would like us to do. Then they can stuff even more cash int Mr Cowell's bulging pockets. And if real music suffers in the process, tough. At least SC will be all right. These days a Sony artist would have to be really exceptional to persuade me to buy their music, so the SC machine works negatively for me. Few are.
