Hi everyone,
We have three more confirmed dates and information for this tour from Bandana today, I'll just quote their release here and update the schedules shortly. There are more dates to follow so clearly, this is a major tour. We already knew unofficially about one of the Jakarta shows.

So, it's Singapore, Thailand!! , and then Jakarta? One of the original write-ups about this said that one of the concerts in Jakarta was just supposed to be a charity one, and the one the next night would be open to the public. The same might be for the Singapore shows too. Any way to be clear on this? Thanks.  |

When I mentioned Hayley's Bankok concert on facebook, my niece, who lives and works in Thailand as an English teacher (despite having a masters degree in architecture, a field in which it seems things are set against women) asked if it meant I would be coming to Thailand. I wish! But no, even today, on the fourth anniversary of the Lincoln Castle concert with Aled Jones, that I flew back from Sydney to attend, (well it will be in half an hour) I have to say that I will not make that one.
This anniversary stuff makes me think about compiling a list of days of the year on which Hayley has (and hasn't) performed. A nice time-consuming project for someone.
But thinking about Lincoln Castle, Gwyl Gobaith will be the first time I have ever attended a Hayley concert on the same day of the year as a previous one. And I never ever forget a Hayley concert.

Here's an ironic twist: Hayley is not an opera singer but Singapore is an anagram for "sing opera"!!

She can sing the arias beautifully, for sure, but I don't recall ever hearing Hayley attempt operatic techniques. She has said before that she just lets her voice develop naturally, that she's never tried to be an opera singer. Maybe she can sing it, but she doesn't, and I wouldn't want her to. I don't like opera! That's why certain artists don't appeal to me.

Yeah, I'm hoping they just need to revise the poster, that's all... but hopefully Hayley's still on it!! It would be nice if Hayley could go back to Japan again. I wonder if Taiwan will be included too. There'll be definitely be a big crowd coming to see Hayley there, including some of the usual suspects, we hope!  |
