Hi everyone, especially those who use Usenet/Newsgroups.
Someone has been posting (dozens of) fake discographies on Usenet, including within the last week, including one entitled "Hayley Westenra - Discography 2000-2011".
THESE ARE PROBABLY ALL FAKE AND MAY CONTAIN MALICIOUS SOFTWARE / VIRUS THAT TRIES TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER.
They are presented as compressed .rar files and when extracted, produce an executable file (.exe) that tries to run on your computer if you click on it. It is probably a virus or trojan.
These so-called discographies may well find their way onto other parts of the Internet, so be warned, if you encounter Hayley's "Discography" anywhere except on a reputable and known website as standard pages, don't be tempted to open or run it. You have been warned!
