Hello folks!  In her interview with the Official Charts Company, Hayley said she will be performing in Copenhagen later this year. According to Songkick.com, she will be appearing at the Koncerthuset (Concert Hall) on Sunday 22 April 2012 at 8:00pm. Yes, anything more than two weeks ahead is deemed as "later this year" by Hayley! :2fun: In other words when Hayley gave the interview she almost certainly did not know, or could not remember, the date for this concert. Martin |

This is sooo tempting!  I've never seen Hayley live before so this would be the perfect opportunity to do so! Unless she decides to visit Sweden of course, that would be even better! (Btw, does anybody know if she's ever been to Sweden before?) But I like Copenhagen as well, it's a really nice city, and I really wouldn't mind spending a weekend there... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif |

Btw, the artist description says that Hayley used to be "the English Queen's personal 'songbird'"...  Apart from that (and that they got her age wrong) it's a very nice description. It also says: "There's something special about Hayley Westenra's voice. It's not only a beautiful voice. It's a voice that you're moved by, because you feel it's coming from a woman who has felt everything - love, joy, anger, despair - the whole spectrum and a little more." |

Yesterday I talked to Arnaud in Manchester and after he'd checked his calender on his mobile phone he said the concert would be on Saturday, 21st April.  I don't want to start any confusion here so we should wait for the official confirmation. A Saturday by the way would make it easier to attend... So we'll see. Thomas |

Hi Thomas, Thank you for this information (and to Libby for initially flagging it up), I will seek 'official' confirmation and in the meantime have removed the exact date from the thread title and have marked it 'unconfirmed'. Either Arnaud or the venue may have to correct their diaries, unless it's the date when Arnaud will be travelling to Copenhagen and/or rehearsals, for a concert the next day! Cheers, Dave |
