Does anyone know anything about Armaud? Does he work with Hayley? If in fact they are engaged will it affect Hayley's work ethic? Long separations can be problematic in a marriage.
What ever the case may be if the story is true I wish them the best of everything.

No we don't know much about Arnaud it's true. I have bumped into him (literally) a few times. The longest conversation anyone known to me had with him was probably my wife Sue, when he was trying to find a way through to the stage door at Buxton through the crush around
Hayley. She told him to go and ask me to move aside for him, and I would have done of course, but he didn't do it. Perhaps he thought it was rude, but I wouldn't have minded at all.
And yes, long separations can be a problem, I think that's what did for poor Katherine Jenkins' engagement. She chose to put her career before her relationship - a wrong decision in my opinion if he really was "the one" which seems likely.
Arnaud works a lot with Hayley, and I'm sure they can work together much of the time, after all, she will always need a sound engineer. I'm sure they can contrive to spend a lot of time together, unlike poor Katherine whose fiance's career was totally unrelated to hers. In her case one would have had to give up a career. In Hayley and Arnaud's case, neither needs to do that. That is why it is so perfect.
I know from my own life in my 20s what it is like to do a job that involves a lot of travelling and sometimes lengthy stays in distant places. Relationships are impossible. You might meet someone if you are lucky, but no chance to have enough time to get to know them properly. It's a bit like sailors with a girl, in every port, but I'm sure not a serious girl in every port. Not enough time there to become serious.
Hayley has been lucky to find someone whose work is compatible enough to enable them to spend a decent amount of time together.
As I have said before, in their kind of lives it is diffucult to do that, and I wish them both all the happiness in the world. And I really do hope they will marry one day.
Isn't that the ideal, the way Hayley has done it. Meet one person, fall in love, and spend the rest of your life with them. I wish I could have done that, it would have saved a lot of pain.
