Does is contain any interactive features, such as a way to request specific encore songs while still in concert, or have a "Hayley finder" that shows her availability for post-concert autographs?

Well done Dean for your initiative!  I know knew slightly less than nothing about iPhones however, so I've been doing some digging, this afternoon! I found the following "penetration" table for smartphones in the UK trovaconsulting.blogspot.com/2011/10/latest-uk-smartphone-penetration.html (the US would be higher, I suspect): Summary 60,000,000 100% UK Pop 25,200,000 42% Smartphone Owners 12,171,600 48.30% Android 5,342,400 21.20% Blackberry 5,241,600 20.80% iPhone 22,755,600 90.30% Total Android/Blackberry/iPhone 2,444,400 9.70% Other Smartphone types e.g. Windows 7 Mobile, Bada, Symbian I had no idea that nearly half the population owns a smartphone!  I wonder, would the app work on any of the other smartphone types? Could you go online like on a PC to get schedule info from our website or forum using a normal browser, or does that need special apps too? Cheers, Dave |

Hi Steve, sadly right now it does not and such functionality would require some assistance of Hayley's Management or Hayley at the very least. However if Hayley and/or her management would like something like that then I'd be more than happy to provide the functionality in-app, but the nearest you can find to that is the tour map I've already done. This app is of course just something I have done by myself and is in no way an "official" app (but I can dream  ) But if fans would like to see extra features, let me know & I'll see what I can do Dean |

Hi Dave, Thanks, I'll try and answer the 2 questions for you. Currently the app is iOS (iPhone/iPod/iPad aka Apple Devices) only, however I will be working on an Android app in the near future. Yes, iOS & Android Devices have full web browsers built-in that work in most cases like your PC just on a smaller screen. Dean |

Well done Dean. It is almost worth getting an iPhone just for that!! But I have a basic PAYG phone that I hardly ever use, perhaps once every 3 months. And a contract phone supplied by my employer that is switched on when I am at work, or when I know sombody might ring me from some airport in the middle of the night. Not sure why I would want one of those devices, but since they are so popular that is wonderful thing to have available. I hear Hayley has an iPhone. Perhaps she could download the app, then she wouldn't need to kepp her diary up to date . Martin D |

Well I can understand not everyone wants nor needs devices like the iPhone, I did it firstly because most artists have an "app" these days and it looked like Hayley wasn't getting one anytime soon so I built one.
Of course feedback is welcome, my first task was getting something ready and live prior to the Paradiso tour, but if you have feature requests let me know.

Hi Everyone, Sorry for the delay to everyone that has installed the app in the past, Just to let you all know that I have just released v1.1 which includes automatic content downloads now so you'll get all the latest tour data as I have it to add to my content system, support for iPhone 5's and a few UI improvement here and there. I have plans to improve the app to include twitter feeds and a few other extras within the next few weeks or so. iPad Support & Android users are also high on my list and I hope to have android released within the next 2-3 months The url to download it again is itunes.apple.com/gb/app/hayley-westenra/id492502103?mt=8Thanks Dean |
