Hi Libby,
I don't know how you tell if your vote registered though! I have a device that appears to allow me to vote many times, but I'm sure those votes are not being counted. THe thing to do is to click on the "thumbs" for one of the comments, which increments the number of votes. Then refresh the page and see if your click has been counted. If it has, you are getting through.

Well, I went to firefox to see if I could vote there, too, but I couldn't. I don't know why I suddenly was able to vote on IE. At least, there was a vote button, and there hasn't been one since last week when I first voted.

Thanks for the alertness of whomsoever. My contribution. Hi! Hayley's worldwide in appeal and her performance touring, multi-lingual in her singing abilities and song renditions, lyric writer, has been endorsed by some of the world's best artists through their performing with her or writing and composing for her. These attributes make her universal in the best sense of the Olympic ideal. For London specifically she is a Londoner, her second home and is a Kiwi by birth so covers the globe, you can't get further away from London than being down under!

I was able to vote again in seven days' time. Currently sat at 133.
I wrote a lovely comment as well...
Hayley is my top choice to sing at the London Olympics Opening Ceremonies. As a celebrated New Zealander currently residing in London, she is known around the world as a caring and humble person. Her strong yet soothing voice will reflect the atheletes' stamina and willpower. A beacon of hope.

I think I have managed to vote again. Here are the commets about Hayley so far. Says it all really.
+23Obviously, the best singer in the world- sweet, nice, talented- sought after to perform as a guest in some high profile concerts in 2011
+22Probably the world's best female vocalist. Though a Kiwi, lives in Britain and is hugely involved in supporting good causes in both Britain and the Commonwealth. The obvious choice. +19The most beautiful voice I've ever heard. Performs very well in formal events without trying to draw attention to herself.
+11Hayley has sung at several major international sporting events in the past and always gave a great performance. These included the World Games in Taiwan and the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
+7Hayley Westerna is the star of the moment, (as for me)with her beautiful voice that fill your heart with joy, I think that she deserve to perform In the 2012 london olympics openings.
+7Whispers In A Dream
Whispers in a dream The world is quiet and waiting And all around the air is still Then sings the angel
(Songwriting of Hayley Westenra)
+7Though we easterners are thousands and thousands miles from London, if Hayley Westenra could performing there, we could feel intimate as if we would be there!
+7Hayley's voice can touch your heart in ways only angels can. Hayley is truly blessed and we are blessed hearing her sing.
+7Christchurch soprano Hayley Westenra have amazing ability to represent UK for the opening ceremony singing!
+7Ich finde Hayley super, freu mich immer auf neue Alben, danke
+6Hayley Westenra is as we have heard all our lifes "A Breath of Fresh Air" For those who have taken the time to just listen to her the way she can take a song like Amazing Grace, her voice carries diversity and depth of soul. Her work with the Japanese songs like "I Believe" or "May it Be" Love Hayley's voice, personality, smile, everything!
+6As the saying goes "forget the rest Hayley is the best" Hayley is as stated a well known singer at prestige occasions such as this. Hayley did a brilliant job at the rugby world cup. A very wise choice for an event such as this. The way Hayley performed recently at The Royal Variety Concert and performed the National Anthem, speaks for itself in my opinion.
+6Purest voice on the planet! Best singer in world! Hayley stands alone.
The Olympics are for the best athletes in the world. Why wouldn't the Olympic Committee want the best singer in the world to sing?
+6Great voice, a true rugby fan and has sung at major sporting events
+5Beautiful voice, would be amazing to hear her at the london 2012 ceremony, although she's not english, however her voice is one of the best especially for this kind of occasion, she did a great job at the rugby world cup and I know that she would be just as good(if not better) for london 2012!
+5New Zealand rugby team just got world champion several months ago accompanying by Hayley's voice!
Being a soulful flying Kiwi, Westenra loves England too!
+5Hayley's the bestestestest! She has the purest voice on earth! She has experience singing for major events such as the Rugby World Cup finals and World Games!
+5An artist who can appeal to many generations, Hayley has an amazing voice and is someone who has entertained thousands of people all over the world. Dean M
+5Hayley just has the most fantastic voice and is the lovliest person you could wish to meet. I feel privileged to know her and know this would make her day
+5The girl who has touched the hearts and ears of the whole world.. What could be more appropriate for her to sing at the olympics

+3Hayley is my top choice to sing at the London Olympics Opening Ceremonies. As a celebrated New Zealander currently residing in London, she is known around the world as a caring and humble person. Her strong yet soothing voice will reflect the atheletes' stamina and willpower. A beacon of hope.
+3Across classical music to easy listening, folk and pop style songs,
Westenra has performed songs in English, Irish, Welsh, Italian, German, French, Portuguese, Latin, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese and Māori from west to east, from north to south all around the world.

+2Hi! Peter S.
+2Hayley has a unique UK and worldwide profile. She has sung for the Queen, for the Dalai Lama and for US Presidents and on many prominent sporting occasions worldwide. She is a UNICEF Ambassador and Vice-President of the Dame Vera Lynn Trust. She is blessed with a voice that has captured the mood and drama of many public occasions, such as the Rugby World Cup, the Christchurch Memorial Service and the 9/11 Memorial Day Service.
+2The most beautiful voice we have nowadays, and probably one of the most in whole history. Also, one of the technically most versatile singers there are, at the age of 24, she has already acomplished much more than many of the biggest artists in their whole life, including recording an album with Ennio Morricone, becoming the greatest selling artist of 21st century and singing for HRH The Queen, and many other heads of state.
+2Hayley Westenra cooperated and performed on stage with world renowned artists like as Dame Malvina Major, José Carreras, Bryn Terfel, Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo, Celtic Woman, Alfie Boe, Karl Jenkins, Debbie Wiseman, Don Black, Sir Tim Rice, Vera Lynn, Ennio Morricone, Mario Frangoulis, Joseph Calleja, Russell Watson, André Rieu...
+2Most definitely the most beautiful voice I have ever heard in my 67 years of life by a huge margin. And she has sung at events like this before, she opened the World Games in Taiwan a couple of years ago. The ideal singer. Why settle for less than the best in the world.
+2This young lady has a voice that is beyond amazing. Her music and her voice is appealing to all age groups and a perfect fit regardless of genre. She would be awesome performing during the Olympics.
+2Because Hayley Westenra has the sweetest voice of an angel ^^ in my opinion she is simply the best! She is also a lovely gracious young lady ^^ deserves to sing at the Olympics in London in 2012!
+2Hayley deserves this. She's worked so hard and is so very talented. There's absolutely no one like her on earth. She's unique and beautiful in style, voice, and appearance. I'm on team Hayley!
+2Westenra performed with various artists and shows around the world, including several times in "Royal Variety Performance" and "the Annual Festival of Remembrance".
+2Probably the world's best female vocalist. Though a Kiwi, lives in Britain and is hugely involved in supporting good causes in both Britain and the Commonwealth. The obvious choice
+2She has angel's voice... That's all I can say! Listening to her songs is like getting some fresh air and a can of beer when I finally call it a day... Soothing and relaxing..
+2Hayley Westenra will perform on The 2012 Beijing International Film Festival with London's Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
Thanks for spreading Love messages here!
+2The most beautiful voice I have ever heard. And a very fine singer too. Experience of big occasions. This girl has everything the Olympics needs. +2
Excellent voice, Wonderful and kind personality, Most important of all - a great role model and inspiration for young and old alike.
+2Come on!
We could help the world be a better place with those aspiring soulful angels like as the flying Kiwi_Hayley Westenra!
+2Wonderful singer! If there is any justice she would be the first name on the list of performers for the Olympics.
+1Christchurch soprano Hayley Westenra is primarily a classical performer. Westenra's Pure CD has been named the United Kingdom's biggest-selling classical album of the 21st century so far! But across well-known classical repertoire, she humbled herself as stepstone to perform some easy listening, folk and pop style songs for bridging classical music to worldwide audiences with her godgiven language talent by singing in English, Māori, Italian, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Irish, Welsh, French, Portuguese, Quenya, Latin and Celtic.
+1Simply the BEST PERSON and VOICE. She has amazing vocals -purity -range and delivery that moves and brings a lot of people to tears. She is also a warm and caring person involved in a lot of charities for children and in the support for the vets. She has the experience -having sung for important ruby matches and recorded album 'World in Union' last year and opening the Asia games in Taiwan.
+1Peace Shall Come
... They say He's here this night They say there shines a star above Tonight... They say to follow the light They say it's gonna be bright Tonight...
And heaven's angels sing Gifts of gold we bring For our new King And peace shall come To everyone (Hayley Westenra songwriting)
+1The most beautiful voice I ever heard. Could be the best of all time. If the London Olympics misses the chance to have her perform at the opening, it will be like Decca rejecting the Beatles!
+1The most beautiful voice the world, Hayley should be the one to open the worlds most prominent sporting event. The entire should see and hear this lovely young woman.
+1Lots of supporters of Hayley Westenra around the world are admiring her artistry, personality and loyalty. All of us hope she could perform for UK!
+1The worldwould not be disappointed if Hayley is chosen. She is from New Zealand but lives in London and has ssung for the Queen many times.
+1A great singer of the classical crossover genre... Have been following her career since her first major album, Pure, in 2004
+1Westenra's angelic voice not only sounds beautifully, but also bridges west culture to east culture friendly!
+1Not probably. "Is the world's best female vocalist. " Hayley has no peers, she stands alone.
+1Hayleys Konzerte in Neuseeland waren der absolute Hammer, sie hat einfach eine Engelsstimme
+1Definitely my personal favorite!... Deserves the opportunity to sing at such an event.
+1Ich hoffe, Hayley schafft es, denn sie hat es verdient She comes from NZ. She stands for international spirit. Her music not only popular in Britain, but also wide spread across the Asian region like China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Think can well represent the new and inspiring spirit of Olympics. Hayley sings anthems and time honored songs with grace and unbelievable clarity Very nice voice. Has sung in concerts around the world.
Stuff like that does my heart good. And is absolutely justified - I wonder if Hayley realises what an amazing singer she is.

Larry,
Those are the comments, only a couple of them are mine. And yes, I really do want Hayley to sing at the Olympics. The only reason to make the opening ceremony worth watching.
You of all people should appreciate what Hayley is. After all you have repeatedly travelled long distances to see her perform. And I'm sure you think she is worth it.

As it has been since the first time I saw and heard her in 2007 Hayley is and will always be my favorite. She has no peers. Regards Larry
