This is totally off the top of my head. I remember Roger used to do end of year quizzes about Hayley's year. To do this properly needs a lot more preparation I admit, perhaps I'll try to do a better job next year. But here are 10 quick questions more or less off the top of my head.
Have a go at answering them. There are no prizes, but I will publish the answers in a week or so's time.
1. Which of Hayley's 2011 duet partners also performed with Hayley in November 2004?
2. On Hayley's tour of UK radio stations to promote Paradiso, she was "attacked by a dog". Which breed was it?
3. What was the location of Hayley's only public concert in England in 2011?
4. Which song, which was recorded by Hayley in 2001, was revived this year and featured in several of her concerts?
5. Which song from Hayley's album Pure, written by a Namibian songwriter, was revived this year and performed in several concerts?
6. What food did Hayley apparently change her mind about liking in 2011?
7. What injury did Hayley sustain in 2011?
8. In 2011, Hayley was present at two memorial services for the Christchurch Earthquake. One was in Hagley Park, Christchurch. Where was the other?
9. Where was Hayley on 23rd December when the Christchurch earthquake struck?
10. What delicacy did Hayley's family apparently discover during Christmas 2011?
Only 10 questions, of varying difficuly, but it is better than none!
Good luck!
