WOW! Well spotted Dave. Rolando & Hayley, I wonder what they sang - something operatic??
This is going to be a bit special I think. I hope you have your recording kit set up Dave!

I had to go through it frame by frame to get the detail! Cheers, Sherlock Dave i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Thanks Dave,
I would have interpreted it differently. The National Anthem has a line under it. Hayley seems to be more closely associated with the trumpeters than the anthem. So I wouldn't think Hayley is singing the anthem, rather that she is doing something else, perhaps with trumpeters. Rolando and Hayley could of course be a different Hayley.. But I hope it is our princess.
In any case, great job Dave.

The line under National Anthem is a short line, which I interpret as: National Anthem: Hayley Westenra & Trumpeters. We shall see! And it is definitely "our" Hayley doing the duet. Also, it's Rolando Villazon (he says so on his Facebook but doesn't mention Hayley.) Hi Dave - or should I say Sherlock? Great sleuthing work!! Hopefully we will find out more details soon! Thanks Jillian, I may leave the getting of photos in your capable hands, well you are better at it than me! Cheers, Dave

Unfortunately, Dave, I have found this on one of Rolando's webs:
And on December 5, Rolando appears on the UK’s most anticipated entertainment event of the year, the Royal Variety Performance, sharing the stage of Manchester’s Lowry Theatre with legendary singers Tony Bennett and Barry Manilow, among others. The star-studded gala, which benefits the Entertainment Artiste’s Benevolent Fund, will be broadcast on December 14 on the UK's ITV.
Surprising they don't mention the female attraction.

National Anthem: Hayley Westenra & Trumpeters. We shall see! I see what you're getting at Dave - and I tend to concur. We know our Hayley is pretty good when it comes to national anthems i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAlso, doesn't it say below "Drumming Opening"? Which would seem to suggest the same. Best wishes Grant

Gorgeousss!!! I wonder what they sang?? Are those angel wings? In that case, I think you're right, Grant! Literally! The dress kind of makes me imagine her as a Sea Princess or Queen. The sequins or whatever they are kind of remind me of barnacles. But they're pretty barnacles. LOL Hey, and what is the meaning of that "World Movie Premiere, Starring Hayley Westenra" headline behind her in one of the small photos? Interesting! And, doesn't it say Rolando & Hayley on the top line on the thing on the left? Not that we need confirmation of a duet now. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I also have this tiny thumbnail which shows Hayley with some sort of shawl as well... That looks just gorgeous and regal. A real princess dress.
