Ah yes, I remember it well. Did you get to watch the Fulmars on the Baltic Wharf building (the one to the left in the second picture). There is a veiwing platform up there. Hi Jillian, Yes it has taken all morning, my wife is not impressed; I am supposed to be doing something else i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifOne more video loading but it takes an age......... Tried to be clever by turning the camera but you cant 'flip' like normal photo's so you will need to turn your head on it's side when it eventually loads  Hope you all find my efforts worthwhile.... I read the first paragaph of this article ' HAYLEY Westenra is back after a two-year self-imposed hiatus' and thought 'WHAT?' two years? Couldn't be? Then I realised that Hayley's last UK tour was the Christmas Wishes tour in December 2010. But Hayley has certainly been doing a lot since then! Anyway, looking forward to hearing how this concert went! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Terribly jealous I'm not there myself! No, can't resist and glad I didn't.
When she sang this on AT I felt it was for the tv audience and didn't come across so well for TV, for me, although others posted they were happy.
I wrote then I felt it was the camera work. It was. This is how she probably presented it to the TV audience and this time, the camera concentrating entirely upon her brought it off. I regret not doing what Grant is doing. Seeing every performance but she'll be back and maybe... Barbican Christmas?
We are seeing an experienced artiste delivering a mature performance of great empathy with her art and life... and I wasn't there! Oh Wow indeed, I'm already gearing up for Derngate.
