WOW , After reading all these reviews I have to get in gear and get a copy before Christmas is here. Hi Dave G., You might want to try Amazon.com or eBay...although my nearest Borders store in Dickson City (near Scranton) did have one copy.

Back in June 2006. I said I must get a copy of My Gift to You. We just received it from OPUSCDS.COM from New Zealand and it is just lovely. If you like Christmas music you will enjoy this album by Hayley. TTFN, Dave Gibson P.S. MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hi Dave G, Your timing is perfect! MGTY is certainly a lovely album, recorded when Hayley was 14! Interestingly, she has sung one song from that CD, namelt 'The Christmas Song' (or 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire') during the Christmas Presence concerts. May you enjoy the album throughout the festive season and beyond! Roger

Hi Peter.
There are a number of places offering MGTY:-
OPUSCD.com (New Zealand) Amazon.co.uk (cheapest I could find at £9.17 + delivery) Amazon.com
Also there are always a number of copies of this album on Ebay. (www.ebay.co.uk)
Good luck! Grant

I've bought two copies of My Gift To You. They were not a problem to get.
I used amazon.co.uk
The thing is with amazon, if it says 'Delivery between 4-6 weeks' DON'T ORDER IT. They don't have it in stock and have to rely on suppliers who will not 9/10 of the time supply it in the end. Get it from an amazon seller instead under the 'Buy used or new' link. I have found sellers to be quite reliable. In my five years of using them I have only been let down once.

I was listening to this album the other day (first time for a while) and I remember thinking that Pokarekare Ana is THE outstanding performance on that album; Hayley was years ahead of herself on that one, you'd never guess she was, what, 14 years old when she recorded it?

MGTY's "Mary Did You Know?" sounds better than the later version, too. Her voice was so impossibly pure in that rendition!

Interestingly, she has sung one song from that CD, namely 'The Christmas Song' (or 'Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire') during the Christmas Presence concerts. Roger Dare I correct you Roger? At Sheffield's Christmas Presence Hayley sang: Mary Did You Know? Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire Silent Night Do You Hear What I Hear? In anticipation of seasonal music I took my copy. Hayley signed it with "Merry Xmas", saying that it was the first opportunity of the year. We can all look forward to the Christmas DVD next December.

The first verse of Pokarekare Ana done acapella on this CD remains the most remarkable vocal I have ever heard. I agree with Steve (not that this happens very often ) that it was probably a mistake to try to make this paragon of simple beauty into some kind of big stage production. In general when it comes to her voice and instrumentation, less is more. Jon - iconoclastic since 1955

One might try smokecds.com in New Zealand. That's where I got my copy three years ago when Amazon didn't have it. With the currency exchange rate it was even less expensive than what it would have cost had Amazon had it in stock at the time. And delivery took only one or two days longer than Amazon's normal delivery time.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago, through Amazon.co.uk, imported from Australia. I really like the Christmas songs, but I think my favorite song so far is "Morning Has Broken". I also like "Through these Eyes", although it goes on kind of long.
