Thanks Dave. Well, I have our tickets, and Northampton is quite close, so I don't need to book accommodation or transport. I would probably go to that one anyway, even if she does her first ever show in Leicester. The De Montfort Hall is waiting Hayley, famous for its warm appreciation of fine musicians. We would love to see you there!

Hi Dave and everyone.
Thanks for the clarification, Dave. I suspect the worst will be that Derngate gets its knuckles rapped. It might be forced to cancel due to breach of contract (such as early news release (highly unlikely I would imagine) but it might be felt an example needs to be made for the benefit of the long term and status/integrity of Hayley's management in the wider entertainment business view). However, while the theatre will be hit with costs to teach it a lesson the only people really hurt will be the fans who doubtless would get their money back but be inconvenienced.
As you say Dave, there are two aspects: fairness to the other theatres and fairness to those who can only afford (time or money or both) to select A concert that is most appealing. Perhaps there may be provision to surcharge the theatre or just ensure it is put about that theatre is not to be trusted. Theatres need one another's trust and co-operation so that might be the way to keep others in line.

This will be the fourth time Hayley has appeared at the Derngate. My first experience of Hayley's voice was there, and I have seen her sing there more times than anywhere else. They were not always happy occasions to be sure. There was 5th November 2008, a few days before Hayley's breakdown.. After the show we met her, and I sensed she was stuggling against her illness. And she had a daunting schedule of concerts ahead of her. This was the only time I have seen Hayley live when I didn't do away floating on air - in fact I was deeply concerned for her.
But nonetheless, it holds a special place in my heart. Hayley is the only act I have ever seen perform there. I would hate to think there would be any bad blood between the Derngate and Hayley's management.
And I have a front row seat, and tickets are I'm told selling well. Of course it will go ahead. And if there are other shows on this tour within reach, I will try to get to them too.

Hi everyone
I have taken a bit of a risk and i have booked seat D8 for this concert. Wow, its such a long way off, but hopefully that will help me, given the current situation. Hopefully I will make it. It will be wonderful to catch up with my HWI friends again and of course Hayley - I have really missed everyone! Northampton is only a 40 minute drive for me too.
Please don't think that I have deserted you all, my family have been going through a very difficult time during this last year due to my youngest daughters illness, which is still going on. Its been incredibly difficult to focus on anything else as we have mostly been living day to day. However, I have been managing to keep up to speed on what Hayley has been up to, even though I haven't logged into the forum much.
Very best wishes to everyone
Mark

Hi Dave Yes, it looks like the Derngate has not released them to Ticketline. Hayley's official site only links to Ticketline for buying tckets so is obviously being restrictive in this instance. Cheers Martin

Not sure if I'll be early enough to see their arrival but presumably we're eating at The Moon on the Square? Who's coming?
