Yes, excellent video, excellent performances by Hayley, even though my laptop was struggling to keep up at times (which shows itself as poor sync between picture and audio). I recorded it of course and the file is massive - about 110MB. That's what you get with that kind of quality. And yes, they put quite a lot of reverb on Hayley's voice I noticed.
Thanks Dave, and excellent effort.

Hey everyone, Been trying to think of a word to describe how good those performances were, and can't. Will just have to let that speak for itself. I agree with Joe. Bring her to QVC in the US!!! Matt

It seems we were not the only ones to enjoy Hayley's performance today.

You never know, she might. I happened to think the echoing had a good effect.

Reverb always gives good effect when in right amounts, it's like a major thing in every recording. Glad they did that! : ) Such moving performances too.

Hi everyone.
I said on Facebook "Is it me, or did I catch a touch of Vera Lynn in the opening bars of Cinema Paradiso? I suspect it is what has been styled as her 'deeper' voice (Hayley) and the 'raw' aspect on this CD.
Could that have possibly been the reverb effect? I'm inclined to think not because I feel sure I have already commented that shortly after/with her interactions with Vera Lynn, I think at the Albert Hall in that tribute to her she portrayed some Vera Lynn inflections.
I am waiting to hear my CD in a deserving and fitting context but I am already excited.

As someone who has sung on stage many times, I can still vividly remember the first time reverb was added to my voice. It actually made me sound halfway decent. I remember getting some compliments after, and just wishing that I could actually take credit for it. Haha. QVC really did a great job with her performances, and Hayley knocked them out of the park, as usual!! Matt
