But there was never any Christmas tour in 2008. There was River of Dreams, Valentine's, and the tour of Japan. I don't see how they can count the Christmas one when she never did a single show. I'm pretty sure the whole thing was cancelled, so she could go home to NZ. That's what her website said.

She DID do a cathedral tour, I was there. I didn't imagine it. But this was 2009, not 2008.
Valentines and most of the postponed ROD was 2009 too.
Hayley and Arnaud got together in early 2009 I'm sure.

Martin D The 2009 Cathedrals Tour was late in the year by which time Hayley and Arnaud had been together for 9 months - the article actually states "By 2009 they were an item". I believe Hayley considers the "River of Dreams" tour to be two separate tours bearing in mind that, as far as she was concerned, when she went home to recover in late 2008, the remaining dates had been cancelled. Hayley returned to the UK in February 2009 straight into the Valentines Tour after which the 'new' River of Dreams tour commenced. And, although some concerts were much later in the year, most followed straight on. Best wishes Grant |

Martin D No Martin. You said the Valentines Tour was the third tour. By my (and probably Hayley's) reconning, the Valentines Tour came between the truncated/cancelled RoD Tour and the rescheduled dates for RoD2, making the Valentines Tour the second tour   Best wishes Grant |

Oh, Martin, for goodness's sake, did I say she didn't do a cathedral tour? I'm quite aware of the ones she did in 2009! I said 2008! I have a very good memory, and I know for a fact that nobody went to any Christmas concerts during that Christmas season! As I said, it said on the website that the shows were cancelled! Are you saying I'm imagining things now? * Loud sigh of exasperation* |
