A while ago, someone mentioned Tam Mutu and this concert in the "Which Direction?" thread. Whoever did, THANK YOU. I searched around, found this thread, downloaded Martin's MP3s, and put them on my desktop. And they sat. They sat for who knows how long. Too long. Only today did I actually listen to them. I was expecting some grainy recordings that would give you an idea of this supposedly great performance. Oh, how I was wrong! These beautifully clean and crisp recordings are now some of my favorite live recordings of Hayley, and are going on my iPod (which is a big deal, because space is at a premium, despite the popular untruth of the iPod's endless space; alright, discussion for a different place). I would not mind at all LOVE if Hayley recorded these. They are so incredibly different from anything else she's ever performed or recorded. I especially love "Spring, Spring, Spring" because I can just imagine Hayley walking around a Mary Poppins chalk land with animated birds flitting about her (sans penguins ). These are masterpieces. Thank you to Martin for recording these and allowing all on the forum to enjoy these wonderful glimpses of yet another incredible side of Hayley. -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifP.S. - I also made myself a little cover for the album. Here's the EXTEREMELY rough cut. Whatcha think?

Love the cover for your personalised cd.
There are some wonderful recordings about, from TV and radio interviews and concert recordings, even with the occasional cough or the sound of rain on plastic, but they are very special indeed.
I keep them in a directory of recordings and move them to a memory key which I play in the car.
It is wonderful to hear a rare recording suddenly pop up when the player is on random. Talk to me is one that always stops me in my tracks, (pun intended).

Thanks Richard! I had a little free time this weekend so I thought I'd do something fun. If I happen to have some more this weekend, I might do "The Deadwood Stage." -Taylor i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

After the big disappointment of Hushabye, it's great to hear a 'new' song that does justice to Hayley's voice. More please!

I'm afraid I didn't care for the song too much; a little Disney-sounding, but I agree her voice suited it very well.
