Hello Jeff! Thanks for your good wishes, I hope you have a great time in Swanage too. Richard Didn't get to speak to Fi, but I spoke to Ian so he knows you'll be there. You'll hear all about Fi's new dog, her wedding, the earthquake and a certain famous Italian film score !! Ian did say rain makes an electric violin tricky. Have you seen the forecast for Saturday ? Hope it's wrong. (BTW guitarist Mike Ferrar's wife was sat next to me in the front row and videoed the whole concert so look out for Youtube.)

Well, a few brave souls made it to Canada Square Gardens today I hope Richard, Grant, Steve and Gordon thought it was worthwhile getting there early to secure a good place Here are a few pictures of Fiona's performance - I'm sure better ones will follow in due course. I didn't make notes of the set list, but the final number was 'Otchi Tchiornia' www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc0mflGGGqI

Hi John and everyone
Well, I honestly thought Fiona's gig would have been cancelled because of the atrocious weather but, it did go ahead although shortened and yes, we did get a little bit wet but Fiona and Ian were so delighted to see us it made it all the more worthwhile.
Steve took loads of pictures and Richard has the set list so expect more in the hours to come.
Best wishes Grant

Hello folks! As you can see, the weather was diabolical, but there were a few more people sheltering further back, so Fiona had an audience of about 25 people. Accompanied by Ian Tilley on piano and Mike Ferrar on guitar, she performed seven superb numbers during her shortened set: Tangissimo Limehouse Blues Calm After The Storm Turkish Fantasie Tchavolo Swing Cathedral Tango Dark Eyes (Otchi Tchiornia) Fiona was very pleased to see us, and we spent nearly half an hour with her after her performance. She then went off with Ian to do some more recording for her new album before she flies back to New Zealand next week. Four of us then had an excellent meal in the delightful setting of the Henry Addington, which I can highly recommend. Richard

Fiona was in top form yesterday and she had fun letting the audience choose the tempo of pieces she played.Steve H

Great pictures Steve, you captured some great facial expressions there.
Good to see Fiona looking so happy !
I know most of the blokes here would rather look at pics of Fiona but even a token shot of Ian to balance the gender ratio ?
