For anyone who can receive BBC Radio Wales, you are strongly advised to tune in to 'The Afternoon Show' with Alan Thompson on February 14th. The programme runs from 2pm until 4pm but I am told the time to listen will be from 3:00 - 3:30.
The words "Hayley", "Westenra" and "Interview" might give you a clue!
Frequency: FM various, 882 and 657 kHz MW, DAB (according to Wikipedia)
Information thanks to the Producer of Music and Events, BBC Wales.

Hello folks! I'm listening to Hayley's interview on BBC Radio Wales at this very moment, and they've just played 'Santa Lucia' in its entirety. Hayley's version is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm getting very impatient for the release of 'Treasure' now! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifEdit: Hayley's interview has now finished, and they're playing her version of 'Shenandoah'. The complete track is far more amazing than the clip on her official website! Best Wishes, Richard

I can't believe I completely forgot about that! I was listening to the clips from the cd and forgot about this interview! I guess I'll just wait till it is on the listen again feature!

Click on 'listen again' 3. Scroll down the list to 'The Afternoon Show' and click on 'WED' 4. Use the player controls to run forward 60 minutes. Edit: This show is on 'listen again' already, and should be available until next Wednesday. Good luck, Richard

Hi Meagan, I had the same difficulty when I first tried so I did what I always do in times of crisis. I made a cup of tea! When I returned a little later, it played perfectly. Give it another go later and you may be lucky. Roger

Just listened to the radio interview and tracks from Treasure. It was quite a long interview and after a brief, nervous start Hayley quickly got into her flow and came over as the warm and normal person that we all know.
It was interesting to learn that she hopes to go back to Ghana at some stage but this time to help with the campaign to avert guinea worm.
She also mentioned that at the Radio Wales recording on 5th March she will be accompanied by a violinist from NZ - could that be Fiona Pears? Hayley also mentioned that she will "meet and greet" the audience after the show - how lucky for those fortunate to be attending.
Martin
ps Shenandoah is quite FANTASTIC.

Hello everyone, Hayley's interview today can now be heard here on the HWI website. I've had to fade the two tracks (Santa Lucia, Shenandoah) into 40 second clips... for obvious reasons! Here is the interview and it's only 48 kilobits/second so everyone should be able to stream it even though it's over 14 minutes long. It should load and play automatically. Cheers, Dave
