Thanks for that Dave. And thank you John too.
The first one doesn't seem to work though. I get "Server not found". I'm using Firefox BTW if that is relevant.
It was lovely of Hayley to thank we twits for our support. I and several others have been tweeting Hayley a lot (several times a day) recently, since we felt that Hayley is going through a difficult and emotional time, and that it would help her to know we were thinking of her and are proud of what she is doing.
I'm glad it did. Thank you Hayley for recording that.

What a lovely surprise! In the midst of everything going on around her Hayley found time to thank us for our support - what a very special young lady she is.
Thank you Hayley it means a lot to know that we're doing our little bit to help you through this difficult time
I have to say, Hayley, her family and Christchurch have never been far from my thoughts these past weeks and many people who know me have asked after Hayley too during this time. I feel, that these posts and messages to Hayley on twitter have helped me and, I guess, many of us to deal with this catastrophe ourselves. I feel a part of it - more so now since the memorial service.
Best wishes Grant

Hi everyone
In the midst of all that is going on in Hayley's life at the moment and she still found a few moments to thank HWI specifically for our support through this difficult time. I have tweeted a few times during the last few weeks myself but have been aware of the more regular 'Tweets' of a few others and I have been following the comments and replies daily.
Thanks you so much for thinking of us Hayley, I have certainly been thinking of you and your family.
Very best wishes
Mark

Hello Ross, Just wanted to say 'thanks' for representing HWI at the memorial service. Glad you got to meet with Hayley and her manager. I'm so pleased to hear Hayley's thank you to HWI. With deep concerns for ChCh and this-and-that to get ready for the event, she had some time to say hello to us. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to spread Hayley's voice to the world. It's a healing voice. And on this day, it has healed. If I had one single word to describe Hayley, "comfort" stands out above all else. Comfort in her voice and in her every manner. Thanks Dave for uploading the videos, and to member John for the video message. Best wishes to all, Joe

Hi everyone, Thank you for the video of Hayley's message to HWI - she is a very considerate person, isn't she? She is truly worthy of all the admiration in the world. I am very much reminded about why I admire Hayley as I do - not only does she have an incredible voice, she's also a lovely individual too. I particularly like this article: The entire service, including Hayley's performance of Amazing Grace is available to listen to here: www.radionz.co.nz/specialfeatures/christchurch_memorial_serviceThanks, Jillian

What a wonderful quote that is, Jillian. I have copied it larger, as it deserves to be. It is one of the nicest quotes I have ever seen about Hayley and well deserved it is, too. I am very tempted to post that entire article on our website tomorrow, as the definitive newspaper summary of the day. Do you (or anyone) know of a better one? Meanwhile, I have started a page on the HWI website for some extra videos made on the day of the memorial service, the first of which is a nice summary of the day's proceedings by our very own Ross, as recorded by John. Thanks guys! Ross speaks about the Christchurch Memorial ServiceMore video will follow, over the next few days. Dave

Seeing Hayley standing proud singing the New Zealand National Anthem brought this crusty old curmudgeon to tears. And that hasn't happened for quite some time. What a special person Hayley is. Well I guess we always knew that, didn't we.

Dave Hi Dave, That's definitely the best article - with the best quote that I've come across. Thank you for the great video of Ross recorded by John! Ross speaks very well into the camera -- I always freak out when someone points a camera at me and asks me to speak! Thanks, Jillian

The article also said:
"There were times when not a head moved. Especially when Hayley did Amazing Grace."

Thanks to John for the videos. The NZHerald site has some good videos which include Hayley or her singing Amazing Grace while showing highlights of the service. I would like to say I was great in front of the camera but you might have seen the break in the middle of the video as I got a bit tongue-tied half way through lol. Almost all of the news reports say that Hayley was one of the highlights of the service and was a crowd favourite. Here is the Press article. Please push the next button under the photo of Prince William to see all of the photos including one of Hayley:- www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/christchurch-earthquake-2011/4786682/Day-to-grieve-comfort

I liked hearing the birds chirping in the background during the interview. I don't mind hearing Hayley talk and sing, too, of course.

For this video, I only got sound and a black screen saying "loading" until just about the very last second. So I almost thought it was actually a radio interview. Oh, well, at least I got to hear it.
