Hi I will be travelling to the UK and staying for about a week on April 20th. It is a dream of mine to finally have an opportunity to see Hayley in concert (as I am from Australia and have given up hope that she will ever come down here to perform) I cannot find any dates during this time that she will be performing. Does anyone know if and when she may be in concert in the UK during this time? Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Penny and welcome to the forum! I hope that you have a great time when you are over in the UK in April but I'm afraid there is only one concert scheduled so far this year. It is on Saturday April 2nd but it is a charity ball and the tickets are very expensive, as it's not a normal concert. It is the Dame Vera Lynn Trust 10th Anniversary Ball and the discussion thread is here: hwi.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Concert&action=display&thread=5754 with links to further details. It is possible that concerts will be announced between now and April but I have no knowledge of any at the moment. You seem to have inadvertently set up a Poll with your original post, which would have been confusing for members, so I have moved your post to a new "ordinary" thread. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave! Sorry about the poll, thanks for changing it. Not sure how or why I put it there. Such a shame that I will probably have to miss the charity concert and most likely the oppotunity to see Hayley. I guess all i can do is hope!

Hi all, There is a good chance that Hayley`s main concert tour will not start until the end of August to coincide with the uk album release.
Stephen.

At the earliest. Maybe the Quake Aid concert will launch the tour? We're under the impression that Hayley was originally going to tour in NZ in May, but then they said it was postponed. It's been a long time since she's toured NZ, plus there've been the bad earthquakes there, so I think it would be nice to start her tour there.

Taiwan in April? The Andrea concerts are in May, and she's going to NZ towards the "end of the month". Where do you get April from for Taiwan? I do agree it would make the most sense to start in NZ. It also seems more fair, since the UK were the last to see her on tour; and see her more often in general.

I expect the UK concerts will be around the date of the release here. That, surely, is why the release dates were staggered.
For all we know, she might already be on a plane to New Zealand, since she has not tweeted since yesterday when she was stuck in traffic, clearly anxious to get somewhere (the airport?).
Or maybe she is silent to avoid talking about a certain event next week...

They did say the tour had been postponed... postponed to when, is the question. But yes, it makes sense to start the UK tour soon after the UK release. Martin, her last tweet was her new Twitter background. That was only 5 hours after the London traffic, and via web. Whereas the traffic one was "for Iphone". So unless she was using her laptop on the plane (or at the airport), then she was probably at home at the time. She could be on her way today, though.
