In regards to Jono and most of NZ buying the album, you said "most???"
So, I said why not all??? As in all of NZ buying her album with Jono, instead of just most.
Half my posts are explaining my other posts, I tell you.

not to be a warmonger...but why all the critiquing of peoples predictions? is that not what these all are? predictions of what members of this forum want to see happen when it comes to hayley? its fine to not agree with what one person says...but its that persons prediction...not anyone elses...this thread is for fun...not for dissecting...
now that i have made myself sound like a total jerk...i would like to say hi to everyone here...

Hi failedreaper, I know this comment was not just for my benefit, but thanks! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI know both Libby and Spiderman are just picking at me for fun though. Spiderman you were right that I was referring to HWI, I assume almost all members will buy the new album, but I'm sure there will be a couple who dont for whatever reason. And as you've mentioned, these are only predictions, I wasn't trying to include every fan in the world! It would just be interesting to come back next year to see which predictions of mine and other were correct. Oh and I'm well aware of the vastness of the United States, I just figured if Hayley went to Toronto, surely she would pop over to New York too . Spiderman - not sure why I forgot New Plymouth and Dunedin. (and the 2 concerts in Vancouver are pretty close to you Libby!)

Hey, Jonathan. With all this specificity you should be able to throw something in there for the middle of the US? BillR bill, sorry most of us new zealanders struggle with american geography... so we tend to forget everything outside of LA, chicago, NY, Boston. it was rather striking though that he left off most of the entire US. im sure jono will revisit his predictions with an enhancement covering the other 250 million people in the USA Hi Spiderman. Jono took care of me. He predicted a concert within 25 miles of my house. Actually, if Hayley was anywhere in North America I would find a way to get there. By the way, most Americans struggle with American geography too. The middle part of the country is referred to as "fly over" country - something that must be endured if you want to go from NY to LA. That's ok we like it that way. BillR ps. I forgot to ask Jonothan for his prediction of the ticket price.

not to be a warmonger...but why all the critiquing of peoples predictions? why bother stating an opinion at all? a discussion group is exactly that. we discuss things. this would be a very strange place if we all stated our opinion without discussing it further. and rather boring. we are playing. if you dont want to play, find another thread you do want to be a part of. in this particular case, we all have things we want. so we wishfully predict they will happen. naturally, other people around us try and bend what we want to what they want. we knew they would. dont be so unkind to yourself, please. the spiderman

I apologize if I've seemed too critical, but I'm not bending anything to what I want. I'm just trying to be realistic. For example, I'd love for Hayley to get a CBA nomination this year. But in reality, her album won't be released soon enough for that. I'm pretty sure that how well an album does in the charts plays a role in how they decide who to nominate. And I doubt Hayley's will be out long enough for them to judge that. They go by other things, too, I'm sure, but I think that's one of the things they consider. However, as Dave said, a nomination is quite likely for next year! And hopefully a win! And as a devoted U.S. fan who has never seen Hayley live, you can't blame me for wanting the U.S. added to the tour predictions. It's possible she'll at least do a few cities sometime soon, too. But yes, Jono, Vancover would be very good, too! Spiderman, of course not all of NZ will buy it, but wouldn't that be great if they did? She's one of their biggest stars ever, after all. I certainly never meant to offend anyone by disagreeing with some of the predictions. You can disagree with mine, too; they might not happen, either. Feel free to dissect mine, as well.

I apologize if I've seemed too critical, but I'm not bending anything to what I want. I'm just trying to be realistic. i know i dont always agree with you but.. your opinion always seems mostly sensible. you have a right to your opinion, but i/we have the right to disagree. if you prefer modified/ enhanced/ some other word... fine; the point i was making is that we as a group are playing off each other, trying to imagine what we want into reality. i wasn't suggesting there was anything wrong with that. just justifying the discussion for someone who didnt understand why we were bothering to discuss predictions. unfortunately, NZ isn't as fond of Hayley as they might be... i know i'll be the only person in my office who buys it. People seem to fall into 2 groups: people who like her and people who deny her existance... there doesnt seem to be a middle group which is odd. even im not offended by you disagreeing with my predictions.. .your quite entitled.

People seem to fall into 2 groups: people who like her and people who deny her existance... there doesnt seem to be a middle group which is odd. This has always been true of Hayley. There is no middle ground. She is either the best singer you have ever heard, or she does nothing for you. I don't find many who like her a little bit, or think she is "quite good" or many who can't stand her. There are far too many who have never heard of her. Martin D

It would be very concerning to me if some of us at HWI did not buy her new album (if we possibly can), much more so than the fact that not all of NZ will buy it. BTW, I had a horrible dream the other night that I saw that the release date wasn't till November 21st! A nightmare, I tell you.

BTW, I had a horrible dream the other night that I saw that the release date wasn't till November 21st! A nightmare, I tell you. Hi Libby, Well, that would be nice of Hayley, to release a new album on my birthday!! Just as it is nice of William and Kate to get married on our anniversary. But I seriously hope it (the album) is long before then. That is too close to Christmas. But no, I think you are picking up on her SECOND new album release this year. The "all her own work" album that she will make for the Christmas market, after the huge success of the Morricone album earlier in the year. See my predictions above. Martin D

OK, time for my predictions for 2011 (at least 1 is a certainty) 1. Hayley will once again team with Debbie Wiseman for a movie soundtrack project. 2. Hayley will be invited as a guest to an event connected with the upcoming royal wedding. 3. Hayley will tour Canada and the USA in the autumn (10-15 concerts) 4. Hayley will have some collaboration with Michael Bublé. 5. Hayley's next CD will have a wide release in Europe. Concerts to follow in Italy, France, Germany and Spain. 6. Hayley will continue to bring many fans together in the sprit of friendship.

If you notice, Jono's statement is included in your quote. I was kind of responding to both of you. And also, if you'll notice, I said in parentheses "if they possibly can". I'm at the very least aware that certain countries don't get Hayley's releases, which makes it more difficult for them to obtain them.
