Hi, Sophie, I just voted! Up to 209. I'm also just now posting this on Hayley's official forum. Is there a deadline? Sophie, do you mind if I ask you a question I've been dying to know... did you try out for the Hobbit? We've heard you've been getting in to acting, so I was just curioius.

Huge thanks to all of you!! Joe, Dean, spiderman (sorry about the 'registering' business..), Gordon, Libby, and Mark - thanks for your support It's at 217 vs the leading one with 219... maybe we could tie with them - that'd be nice! Fingers crossed... Hi Libby - yes, there is a deadline - closes at 10am Monday NZ TIME which is just under 40 hours from now... but thanks for posting it elsewhere! And yes, just so you know, I did get a chance, but it was for only the lead female role!! A Liv Tyler type role... so I think it's safe to say we can forget about that audition lol. Still fun to audition! And Mark... I'm sure I'll be over in England sometime in the near future, tagging along with Hayley to her concerts, so I'm sure we'll meet one day! Thanks again guys! Lots of love Sophie xx

Done my bit. Now, do I presume too much?
I was chatting at one time with Jill and suggesting that with Hayley's interest in healthy eating another avenue would be to use her name to promote the value of her mother's culinary skills, perhaps as a book on Hayley's life-style.
Now, I believe we have cause to doubt since Hayley's strict observance of her mother's advice but although this is a government promoted concept, I wonder just how much Jill has been a very major motivator? Could that conversation in the background of a 'Hayley signing' in those early days have thrown a spark that has flared?

Currently 281 apiece (but Jill's has fewer thumbs down). The website clearly states that: Which was several hours ago NZ time, so someone is managing to get votes added after the deadline. I hope someone has timed screen captures from 10 am (I have one from now) in case the website forgot to tally the votes at the closing time. Dave

dave... possibly you can still vote but it doesnt "count"for competitive purposes.
i'll be very indignant if jill doesnt win cos i checked at 1019 and she had.

from emma, right now
"Hi Robert – thanks for your interest in the Genr8 People’s Choice Award.
The winning project was determined by the number of ‘thumbs up’ at exactly 10:00am and a screen shot was taken to confirm the winner. It was The Great Little Cookbook project that won the People’s Choice Award.
The site has been left open so that people can continue to view the projects profiles, but will be disabled shortly.
Kind regards,
Emma"
so,
jill actually did win and the universe is therefore in order
