Well the question is pretty self explanitory...but could be put into finer detail...would you wanna sing with Hayley during a concert or on a CD...or write a song for Hayley to sing at her concerts or on a CD? This is all for fun comments welcome as usual

Neither. I would lower the quality of anything she does by quite a lot! Can't sing or compose music.
But if I could do either of those things, I'd choose to write.

Hi Jim Hmm, I am in NO level of Hayley's voice, so I definitely would not sing with her. I'd ruin the duet for sure, LOL. Though, being a lyricist for at least one song seems ok! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Anshita

I voted for writing a piece for her. Though I've never composed anything before. What would be better for me is to write an arrangement of an already existing piece or to collaborate with her on a composition, in other words she writes the lyrics and I write the music with her input on the music of course. Or collaborate with her as a performer, she sings and I play.

Well,I actually have a video of me singing with Hayley. Well you can hear my voice, I was behind the camera. But it will never see the light of day because I sound terrible. And Hayley's microphone was switched off.
So, I have the proof I can't sing with her, and I have never written a song either, so co-writing is out too. If I could write anything, it would be lyrics, but Hayley's lyrics I love so I would have to write the music. No chance! I can't even read it, let alone write it.
So for me the answer id neither. So what can I do with Hayley.
It seems only listen. And marvel at the beauty of what I hear. No way could I ever contribute to that without making it worse. My only contribution might be making the tea, which Sue says I do rather well. Or perhaps get involved in the technical side, OK, I'm an engineer, so might be able to master the sound desk, given time.
Hm.. not much I could do then is there? Except pass comment, which I do already, and buy her records.

I went for writing, though I'd have to cheat and just do the lyrics. If I were ten times the singer I am, I would not be fit to grace the same stage as Hayley. My knowledge of musical composition is non-existent. Words, I can do!

Too bad you didn't put "playing an instrument" as an option, because I'm sure there are some who could do that, even if they couldn't compose or sing. As for me, I would choose to sing. I'm a halfway decent singer; I used to be in choirs. I'm somewhat out of practice, though. I can't handle as many high notes as I used to be able to. Actually, once I get started at church, I'm almost as good as I used to be. After a few songs, though, it starts to feel a bit labored. That's how out of practice I am. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't because of the stuffy air in the sanctuary. I tend to think that's it. Another problem I have is respiratory issues, either from allergies or fighting off colds. I sometimes have congestion, or my throat starts to get a little sore. It's almost more of a muscle soreness than a cold-type sore throat. I take an herb that helps a lot with congestion, but not really with my throat. I probably need to try Hayley's hot water with lemon and honey trick. In fact I feel like I could use some right now. So I'm certainly not good enough to be a real singer, nor do I really want to be. So there's no way I could compete with Hayley in that respect, but I don't think you'd have to plug your ears. Well, in comparison to Hayley you might, but not because I can't carry a tune or anything. You would just enjoy Hayley far better. Because if I was as good as Hayley, you'd know about it by now.

I wish there was an option for two. I'd love to collaborate on a piece with Hayley both in the writing (lyrics and music) and the singing. I think it'd be a blast! <3 Caite

I would love to play my organ as an accompaniament for her singer... But, although I can make it sound more or less fine with easy pieces, I am rather a low-level amateur as a music player, so, there's no way I will do anything on-stage, even alone or in an orchestra (my nerves would betray me and I would do so many mistakes... I can't even think of how horrible it would turn).
But, in a rise of inspiration, 2 or 3 years ago, I get to compose a very short piece of music, a 1 minute long trio for Flute, Violin and Piano... And right now, I am in the process of writing a song, right now, I am writing the lyrics, and I may try to fit some music to it, maybe with the help of my friend Ezequiel. If it doesn't turn too horrible, Ezequiel has promised me that he will sing it and that will make a video to put it on Youtube, so, maybe you'll even hear it... Well, but I am drifting off-topic, all this just to say I think I would rather be more suitable to write or compose with her than anything else.

Although I've been classically trained in Voice for 8 years, piano for 9 years, cello for 3, handbells for 7 years, and sung with my state's (Pennsylvania) choirs at least 4 times.........I don't think I'm come anywhere close to being worthy of standing up and performing with Hayley. She's just too, too good!! ~~Paige devotedfan xxxx

It's just make believe. Although I'm not nearly as good as Hayley, I at least know that I'm better at singing than writing songs. So if I could choose one, I'd choose singing. Just as long as it wasn't in front of a big audience! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
