Yes, that's frustrating Libby. At least if they told you they had decided not to do it, you would know where you stand. I'm not impressed by that. They should know that a lot of potential sales could be won or lost depending on how they respond.

I am currently in email correspondence with the N.I. Tour DVD distributors, so I hope to have a bit more information about it soon, probably early next week.

I finally got a response yesterday: "Unfortunately we still have not made a decision on making the Hayley Westenra DVD available in NTSC format. We will advise when this changes." I wonder how long that will be?  I guess we'll have to count on Dave's correspondence to be more successful. |

i understand his reservations, i went sofar as to do a DNS check on the website before i parted with money.. point out to him other people have recieved the CD so thats usually a good sign

Dave and if you were paying attention you would have noticed i was refering to the new cover for the new zealand release not the english one I know, but please do not make that kind of comment in that way, it's inflammatory. to clarify my message: it is no-longer being released in New Zealand due to a licensing issue To clarify my own earlier messages, the DVD has been withdrawn by the main distributors DFT and will therefore have been withdrawn Worldwide, but according to DFT, this is temporary. My only concern is to make sure that everyone knows that DFT currently expect it to reappear, this could be in the UK, NZ or anywhere, depending on the outcome of discussions between DFT and Bandana Management. Thanks for posting the information from Gamewizz; Jillian has mentioned to me a couple of other NZ suppliers who seem to have withdrawn it, and all the others should have done so by now. Dave |
