Hi
Has anyone been lucky enough to watch the start of the Rugby on BBC1? I just switched over on the off chance to see if Hayley would be singing as it was NZ playing. There she was! Singing the NZ National Anthem! A lovely performance in front of 82,000! Alfie Boe (Canterbury last week) did the honours for England.

Hi George I sat in front of the TV for 35 minutes, video remote control in hand, waiting for Hayley to appear. When she did I hit rewind instead of record!! I wouldn't mind but I blew it last time by setting the video up for the wrong channel!! Maybe it'll be third time lucky!! Grant

Hi Grant
You are really suffering from the most serious form of Hayleyitis! I am not sure there is a cure for you. I have got it recorded on the hard drive but I hope no one asks me to copy it in here because I would have no idea how to start!

Shock horror!!! This is an extract from the BBC Sport website real-time coverage of the match this afternoon: "Time 1532: Not sure who the lady is who's singing the New Zealand anthem, but she's very good indeed. She's given it a sort of folksy edge - skipper Richie McCaw is loving it." Where has the journalist (Ben Dirs) been all his life? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin

Hello guys, I recorded this (I looked in on the off-chance, like the rest of you! ) but there are some problems to sort out before I can make any video or audio from it - and it's Bonfire Night so I'm off out shortly. Meanwhile... here's a screenshot of Hayley today that I managed to grab Hayley did it again, not only did the All Blacks beat England by 41 to 20 but I believe the All Blacks are still undefeated when Hayley's sung their National Anthem. How does she do it? Cheers, Dave

Thanks for sharing the screen shot with us Dave! Perhaps there's something that deeply moves or connects with the players when Hayley sings and that shows in their playing....oh I don't know. All I know is that she does it! <3 Caite

Katherine sang the Welsh National Anthem that day too. tempus fugit! Andrew

Some of us get accused of going to Twickenham just to see Hayley.
My version of the New Zealand National Anthem from the new south stand follows (just back from Twickenham).
Only wish we could have seen more of Hayley and Alfie Boe at the end instead of G4 and Girls Aloud.

Great job Hayley,Another fine result i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMaybe its not that Hayley singing the Anthem spurs the All Blacks on. Maybe it puts the other team into a trance so they can't win. Belinda NZ Well Done All Blacks with Hayley's help.

I duly recorded this event on my Sky+ recorder "just in case" but a certain member of my household unknown to me set up a second recording on another channel and did other things too. The result? A wrecked recording of Hayley I can recover the video but sadly, nearly all the audio is lost. If you (or anyone!) have this video of Hayley (and Alfie Boe too, if possible) I'd be forever grateful. I'm sure we could work out a way of getting it to me... by hook or by crook! You are welcome to send me a private message about this, if you like Cheers, An unusually frustrated Dave

( Dave, I made a video of Hayley (only) live at Twickenham. However, without a tripod and a significant distance from the podium, it is hard to tell that it is Hayley. How would you like the audio?

Hi Drew,
Yes please, if you can upload it somewhere and post a link I may try to merge it with my video of it.
It is also possible that George will be able to provide this video but if not, at least I'll have a record of it for posterity!
Cheers, Dave
