WOW. Is the Kaohsiung Arena the same one where the World Games took place? If so, that is 50,000 capacity. That is going to be something very special indeed. Fantastic news, and something all her Taiwanese fans deserve.
And another go at the National Theatre in Taipei, where there were crowds in the square outside last time.
Don't know how well Hayley is known in China, but it will be good to make a start there. I'm sure they will love her.

I hope you will be able to keep us up to date with what is happening in Taiwan and Shanghai nearer the time of the concerts, that would be very helpful to us! WOW. Hi Martin D, No, it's not the place you are thinking of, which is the Kaohsiung Stadium where Hayley sang at the World Games opening ceremony. Kaohsiung Arena was apparently completed in time for use in the World Games 2009 and is said to have a capacity of 15,000 spectators so it's on a par with most of the largest indoor arenas in the UK - well in most countries - it's HUGE!!! I understand that the promoters over there were very keen to get Hayley back, after last year's triumphant performances. I cannot at the moment think of any solo concert i.e. where Hayley has been the main act, that has had anywhere near that number of spectators so Hayley must be very excited about this. So am I! Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone,
Oh what great news! I've hoped that Hayely would go back to Taiwan and promote herself where the excitement is fresh and there's new ground to be won!
Hayley's albums have been doing extremely well on the classical charts in Taiwan recently.
I hope we get some photos of these concerts.. especially the Kaohsiung one!

My friends & I are very exciting. Once the tickets starts selling, we'll run on it! The capacity of the Taipei National Concert Hall is not very big...

In the last paragraph, it mentioned that Hayley Wewnrenra, a crossover diva, will held a concert in Shanghai Grand Theatre.

Well, aren't there some Chinese members here, and also one on the official forum? I think Sarah Brightman is popular there (didn't she sing in the opening ceremonies for the summer Olympics in Beijing?), so it would make sense that Hayley would be somewhat popular, too. Maybe this means the album will be out around this time.

This is encouraging news. It'll be the first time Hayley comes to mainland China. Although several newspapers have reported the possible event, there's no ticket information on the the Shanghai Grand Theatre official site yet. But we'll wait and see.

Hello folks! I've found the Shanghai Grand Theatre's website here: www.shgtheatre.com/I've posted the link on our new website. I can't find the official websites for the venues in Taiwan, but if somebody else can, please post the links in this thread. Many thanks, Richard

Hello everyone! I'm so lucky to have a friend who has access to some "inside info". She was told that the Taipei concert will be hold by the MNA (website: www.mna.com.tw/events_CN.asp ) The MNA is still arranging details regarding this concert, and the official concert announcement is planned to be come out in late September.
