And in Japan at least our Hayley has been known as "Hayley". Two singers with the same name is confusing, so it is best if both use thier fill names I think.
I can remember "Cliff Richard and the Drifters" whose band changed their name to "The Shadows" for fear of confusion with the American vocal group "The Drifters".
Not sure if Hayley G is active in Japan (I agree, she is a good singer and innovative artist), but if she ever is, it would be better not to simply use the name "Hayley".

No news here of Hayley Griffiths for 3-1/2 years Hayley is now lead singer for the rock band Karnataka and has recently completed an extensive tour with the band. But as a soloist, Hayley has appeared recently only in private functions. Well as they say, "He who pays the piper calls the tune." So I decided to ask Hayley to sing at my church to celebrate my (significant number) birthday last week. She sang a varied programme of Celtic, Classical and Musical Theatre numbers, ably assisted by tenor Gari Glaysher who joined Hayley for a few duets and also sang a couple of solos. It was a fantastic concert, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. A few photos of the evening:-

It was a thoroughly enjoyable show, and well worth driving down to Surrey for. I had never heard either singer live before, and was pleasantly surprised, especially by the power of Hayley's voice. She was outpowering Gari in the duets, and he certainly doesn't lack power. I can understand why she can sing in a rock band. Thanks John, it was brilliant!

Glad you enjoyed it, Martin A large part of my motivation to ask Hayley was that I wanted to hear her Celtic and Classical music for myself, but I also thought it would provide a rare opportunity for others to hear her. The duets with Gari were rather special, and his solos were impressive too. I think the imbalance in volume was mainly down to the pa settings, as there was nobody to make on the spot adjustments. Actually I am sure they both could have made themselves heard without any amplification. Yes Comet, a very nice birthday experience . Nothing on YT from me. I believe Hayley's fiancé recorded the show, but I don't know if any of it will ever be made public.
