Thanks for letting us know, Grant! They didn't mention if they'll post internationally but if Jillian's ordered it too, I guess they do!! Ordering mine now i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifcheers, Joanne Hi Joanne, Yes, Pay Pal allowed me to select Australia as a posting destination - however, they only charged me 1.50 pounds for postage! So I imagine that'll give someone a headache as I'm not sure if it'll get here on that amount. Cheers, Jillian

I have a few questions: 1. Has anyone successfully played this DVD on a US computer? (I don't have a DVD player) 2. Does the DVD covers the whole event? Or at least the 8 songs that Hayley sang?

Hi Dennis I have a few questions: 1. Has anyone successfully played this DVD on a US computer? (I don't have a DVD player) 2. Does the DVD covers the whole event? Or at least the 8 songs that Hayley sang? The DVD is not yet available so we won't know any technical details until we start receiving our copies. As far as question 2 is concerned, all we know is that the DVD is "an edited recording of the live concert" and the concert was almost three hours long so I guess something will have to go but, again, until copies start arriving .... Best wishes Grant

At this point, I think I just need to learn how to convert the DVDs, if that's even possible. Would the quality really be that much worse?
I just can't stand being left out like this anymore.

Hi Grant,
Thanks for the info! I've also ordered my copy.
It would be great if the DVD covered the whole event including all 8 songs Hayley was involved in. Technically it should be possible as a dual layer DVD disc can easily hold 3 hours of good quality video.

I guess the main reason I wanted this is because of We'll Meet Again and Songbird. However, I can hear any of these songs on youtube if I want, and if I'm only going to be able to play it on my computer anyway, I might as well forget it. Unless someone can tell me how to convert it to NTSC, as I thought someone said might be possible.

At this point, I think I just need to learn how to convert the DVDs, if that's even possible. Would the quality really be that much worse? I just can't stand being left out like this anymore. Hi Libby, I have a pair of good quality headphones which means that I can get decent sound out of my computer - rather than having to play on the little speakers. I actually listen to most of my music DVDs with headphones on my computer anyway. More of a habit that I developed from living in sharehouses, colleges... and now home where Dad refuses to give up posession of the remote! But I was wondering if it was possible to rip the DVD then use video software to convert to NTSC. I have Adobe Premiere Elements and that allows you to convert video to almost any format PAL or NTSC included. I'm not sure what would happen to the quality though. My DVD player also has a USB, so I imagine if I converted the video to Divx or something it would also play. I guess I'll have to wait and see if the DVD works for me and then I may need to get experimenting! Cheers. Jillian

Yes, Libby ang Jillian, that's what it boils down to, trial and error. It should certainly be possible to convert to a format that will play on your DVD player, but it is a bit of a black art. I have created playable DVD's from vids taken on my camera, which is is Quicktime Movie Format. There are a number of free programs that can be downloaded from the internet that will do the required conversions, but of course I have never had to deal with NTSC.

At any rate, they have my email address, so if they require further payment for postage, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Cheers, Jillian
