Thanks for the information, Grant! Ardingly is too remote for me, but I'll add this concert to our new website as an unconfirmed event. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Grant and Richard,
Thanks for that, but I should just 'confirm' that I know Hayley's participation in this event is not yet finalised, I will of course say so when I know that it is.
One thing we need to know is of course the extent and timing of Hayley's participation in this afternoon and evening event.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Richard Although I won't be going to this one, there are a couple of very nice references to Hayley Hayley Westenra sings for Dame Vera Lynn The night becomes even more magical when star soprano Hayley Westenra takes to the stage. New Zealander Hayley has rocketed to world fame in just a few short years. Hayley will doubtless be singing the lovely, lilting ‘Pokarekare Ana’ but as another huge fan of Dame Vera Lynn, we can doubtless look forward to this sensational songstress paying a special tribute to the one and only ‘Forces Sweetheart’. This sounds fantastic. I would love to be there, but is a bit far without making a weekend of it, and using the motohome, which probably isn't on at the moment. But one day, I will at least partially retire and be able to do things like that.

Anyway, three Hayley concerts in just over a month would be total sensory overload...

So do they hold the Military Tattoo in different places each year or is there more then one, I’ve always enjoyed the Edinburgh Military Tattoo which is televised here and I believe was even held in Australia back in 2005, I suppose there is a chance that Hayley may sing in the 2010 or 2011 Edinburgh Military Tattoo, If so it will make it a MUST NOT MISS event. Its one of the best shows ever . Jennie B

Hello Jennie! There are various Military Tattoos all over the country. As far as I know, this one has no connection with the Edinburgh Tattoo, which is an annual event. Richard
